Brady's Future

Sure has an awful lot to say about Brady. I agree with his overall sentiment that it takes 53 guys but when you pair this with all his other comments the last day or so there seems to be some sort of friction there.

Of course Brady got all the credit... Tampa Bay hadn't won a playoff game in 18 seasons and in their entire franchise history they had 1 road playoff win... Brady arrives and they win 3 road playoff games and the Super Bowl.

Arians does a lot of talking but so does Brady (more indirectly). It seems likely there was some friction there. Brady wants to control everything at this point of his career, and I think Tampa Bay pretty much obliged, until Arians told Antonio Brown to get the f*** out of here. Seems like that's an underplayed reason why Brady soured on remaining in Tampa Bay. Brady probably figured they had time to sort out Brown's grievances (amongst the players) after that Jets game but Arians blew it up first. Had Tampa Bay had Brown for the postseason, that may have been enough to put them over the top.

I find it interesting that after years of calling Arians a clown that Team Bill now thinks he's as important as the players.

Brady needs to find his way to SF. That division is going to be there for the taking. Seattle minus Wilson is probably out of the way completely. LAR aren't going to be as good as this past season and Arizona seems to be working through some turmoil. The only other teams guaranteed to be in the NFC postseason are Green Bay and Dallas. Good chance Brady gets that SF team into the SB. Hell, if he returned to Tampa Bay with Godwin and Gronk also returning then he'd still be in an advantageous spot... the NFC South is a total mess... three of those teams are going to lose 10+ games.

The trouble with Tamper in 2022 is that yes with Brady et. al. they could win their weak division but they would not be good enough to get to the SB and win it. Brady at SF should be a post season contendah! Not gonna happen though. Bummah.

Maybe he is here to buy Chelsea (up for sale by Abrahmovich)

Before the 2004 SB vs Philly there was a picture of Brady and Donovan McNaab on the cover of Reader's Digest. It looked like Brady could eat peanuts off the top of McNabb's head if they didn't roll off.
