He played well against Philadelphia but his stat line in the NFCD game before the Rams started fumbling was not good. Overall against the Rams he was 30 of 54 (55%), 329 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT for the game...nothing great.

I agree with the premise that had the Rams not had those ridiculous Pop Warner fumbles, Brady was dead to rights. However, those are just “what if’s”.

What if Brady didn’t throw 3 INT’s against the Packers up 28-10 in the NFCCG the year prior? Rodgers has no shot at a comeback.

Or what if the Falcons didn’t go brain dead against the Pats up 28-3 in the 3rd quarter of the damn Super Bowl? Brady leads no comeback.

As usual, they will find ways to have a decent "rank" for their defense, but will get overpowered by competent offenses when it matters.

Same LB’s? Hightower, collins, and KVN are all gone. It’s about as top to bottom an overhaul as you can get. Now did they replace them with quality? That’s a fair question and one we won’t have an answer to for 5-6 months but they did replace big old slow guys with smaller young fast guys so hopefully they are in position to make a tackle or two.

No one actually believes Brady is fading... if anyone is saying that then they're lying. He just had perhaps his best back-to-back seasons of his entire spectacular career. Look back through his career and let me know if you can find better back-to-back seasons. He should have won league MVP last season... and by a good margin... Rodgers is the biggest fraud in the NFL. Tampa Bay lost in the playoffs because Brady was down 2 of his top 3 WRs and he was having to make it work with Evans and a bunch of chumps. As it was he nearly pulled off a miracle comeback against the eventual SB winner. Name another team in the NFL that would have even sniffed a playoff win being down 2 of their top 3 WRs.

The Patriots defenses ultimately lost those Super Bowls. The HC lost SB 52 all by himself.

Brady > Montana by every standard imaginable... stats, winning, clutchness, leadership, toughness, etc. Brady literally has had a better career than Montana and Young combined.
