Brady Sr - Brady's Future in New England is Up to Bill

If we follow the career of #12 he has done more with less, consider the last play of the game when he forced the pass to Edelman, who was well covered, meanwhile Meyers was standing on the goal line..

OTOH this O line has crapped the bed all season long, do not remember a worse scenario.. of course there is the loss of Andrews & Develin + Gronk's retirement.

This is a disturbing trend.. Edelman & White or nothing.

Well, I agree it wouldn't be wise If you refuse to give the offense a shot in the arm that it needs around Brady.

Hell, the running game is lackluster.

I do agree that the lackluster weapons is an issue. But...does having A.B out there mean Brady doesn't miss open receivers? What about throwing inexplicable interceptions?

He's not blameless here.

Like our K position ... ppl will miss this man a LOT when he leaves/retires ...

WR group is not capable of run the correct route. LOTS of drops. 1st round pick in the dog house and the UDFA had a really bad game. Sanu is a expensive ''Gunner''.
OL is having serious issues. C is a joke, Mason doesn't look the same player, Cannon is playing like sh*t, Wynn is too small. I don't know. I look at him, and he looks slim, like Ferentz.
TE group is the worst group of the entire NFL. Any position.
RB is slow af. Even White regressed a LOT. Harris ???
FB is a LB

Pretty honest assessment of the situation.

BB has final say even if Tommy wants to stay. And if BB says hit the road, well Tom has a lot of options. The league is desperate for QB talent and there are at least 8-10 teams out there who would consider Tom an immediate upgrade to their situation not to mention a huge publicity and season ticket sales bonus.

The other pink elephant in the room is that BB failed to equip Tom with enough weapons to succeed this year. Yes Tom has managed with paperclips, duct tape, and such for a long time. But at least he had Edelman and Gronk. Now that there's zero talent at TE, and nobody outside Edelman, and oh yes no OL, we see the offense sputter week after week. And we can't put this all on Tom, he's got nothing this year. Michel is having the worst season of his career to boot.

So, Brady should play at below market prices in order to be on a winning offense, one that is built to support his skills set?

Brady played for $23M in 2019.

How much is Brady worth on the 2020 market on a one year deal, compared with Bridgewater and the other quarterbacks who many be available?

Given that MIA will have 2 firsts, 2 seconds and over $80M to work with, why should Brady give another huge discount to the patriots? MIA is one example; I'm sure there will be others if Brady isn't extended and becomes a free agent. Some teams might even offer a 2 or 3 year contract. After all, for many, there is lots and lots of cap room.

Perhaps you don't think that Brady at $23M wasn't a discount. Well, consider what Brady might have gotten as for one year as a free agent from other teams.

And, yes, we can think that Brady is judging based on his possibility of a Super Bowl. However, the ability of an offense to excel, and to protect him, might be even more important.

. But at least he had Edelman and Gronk. Now that there's zero talent at TE, and nobody outside Edelman, and oh yes no OL, we see the offense sputter week after week. And we can't put this all on Tom, he's got nothing this year. Michel is having the worst season of his career to boot.
