Re: Brady Resting sore foot ,did not make trip to tampa

Here's a tip: Those 3 pronged thingies go into 3 little holes in the wall. Really!

I was being a good boy, looking after the enviroment and pulled it out see....Or moving my Xbox, something like that...

Re: Brady Resting sore foot ,did not make trip to tampa

not panicking yet......hyperventilating.....but,not
panicking.

If they make a trade for one of Tampa Bay's excess QB's after tomorrow night's game, then
it's Novena-time.

.......taking deep breaths,I'm ok,now

Where in h-ll did I put my Confirmation Scapular?

You can keep your football, standing on a three pronged U.K. plug just f'kin hurts.

You're not wrong. Somehow, this is one of our contributions to civilization that our American friends haven't copied.

Re: Brady Resting sore foot ,did not make trip to tampa

Personally, I was not happy thinking of Brady behind that patched up offensive line.

What he said ... :yeahthat:

I am glad I am on vicodin right now. It's helping, a bit.

Re: Brady Resting sore foot ,did not make trip to tampa

This was posted last night by Bitsygirl on the haircut thread:

Forget the haircuts. A doctor friend of mine saw Tom Brady enter the RI Hospital Imaging Center this afternoon. He was there for an MRI!

There was thread at the Planet by LurkingWife saying that Brady was in her building. It was posted at around 7:30 AM. I didn't think it was important (as far a Brady was concerned), until I saw Bitsygirls post.

I then asked LurkingWife if that was the building that she worked and she confirmed that it was.

Again, having an MRI does not mean that they found anything serious or anything at all. Rest and work with the PT staff may be all that's needed.

Yup....props to Bitsygirl for the tip, sorry I questioned you at all. Maybe you can just sneak in and tell us MRI showed nothing??

No cause for alarm right now - if you happen to see them sign a Vet. then it's time to worry.

If Brady is even slightly bruised, I don't want him behind that patchwork Offensive line. Let him rest, we need him in September not August.

I don't mean to question any of your "sources," but why would Tom Brady be going to RI for an MRI??

I don't think there is anything wrong with Tom that a little rest won't cure, if at all-maybe an "injured foot" is the excuse the Pats are using not to play him with Goodell's new edict on integrity of pre-season games. The Chargers had to do the same for Tomlinson. I believe this is another way BB is managing his roster and it's quite obvious we need to find out now if Cassel or Gutz can play with the big boys. It's better to do that now vs in an important reg season game in December.

Good point, there is another game on Thurs vs Philly at Gillette only 5 days later. That one is the all important 3rd game, which he will be playing.

The Pats fly out of Providence, some would even argue it's about as close to Foxborough as Boston.

About as close??????? Does anybody have any clue about New England geography????? Or is Boston the center of your universe?

Foxboro to Boston 33 miles
Foxboro to Providence 21 miles

Providence is significantly closer to Foxboro than Boston is.

Why are you so upset about this? People don't really pay attention to Providence, because its not that great of a city.

However, 10 prime Steak and Sushi is one of my favorite places to dine when I am in providence: http://www.tenprimesteakandsushi.com/

It's closer, not 12 miles closer, though. I'm sure there's variance if you mark it from downtown Boston rather than Mattapan, for instance.

I wouldn't put it past Belichick to tell Brady he has a foot injury that Brady didn't know about. I think this game is the game that the Pats have to make a final decision on how they are going with the back up QB situation. It could be the last game as a Patriot for Cassel and/or Guttierez. The third game will probably have Brady in for most of the game and the fourth game is too late if they are ultimately going to decide to bring in a veteran.

I think both Cassel and Guttierez are on the hot seat in this game and both may see time with the starters and one or both may not be on the team by this time next week.

Can we please stop with the mad scientist messing with everyone thing? The last time we heard that BS on this board was that BB was having Brady fake an ankle injury. Remember that game?

I agree about the QBs except that BB will use game 3 as well at the very least. But BEFORE this was announced by the media, Patsfans and Patriot Planet posters had observed that Brady was at a RI hospital, allegedly for an MRI. Coincidence?

Co-sign. I love BB, but he didn't want Spygate to happen or engineer the camera man getting caught, he didn't tell Brady to fake the ankle sprain before the Super Bowl, and he isn't telling Brady to go to get an MRI in RI to throw people off.

Re: Brady Resting sore foot ,did not make trip to tampa

It is my understanding that the Pats go to MGH for MRI's, etc. I've seen Colvin, Asante, Bruschi and others there. When my wife was delivering in April a nurse told me that they are the official hospital of the Patriots and as a matter of fact Kraft gifted them 8 SB (XLII) tix which were raffled off-she also said that tix are also raffled off for regular season games as well and have been for some time now.

I doubt the Pats would drop off Brady for an MRI on the way to the airport for Tampa, so the fact that they fly out of Providence is irrelevant to where Brady would go for an MRI.

With the offensive line situation unsettled, I can see why

Belichick would not want Brady to play. The foot might just

be an excuse to appease Goodell and the Tampa fans who

expected to see Brady.

I think he is saying he (BB) wants to see more of Cassel, Guet, and O'connel
