Bounty Rule - What if the Pats violated this one?

Please tell me what Goodell has done about the piped in crowd noise at Indy?? CLEARLY a violation of rules and totally unfair?? AND they have been warned about this as well...Tell me also about what he has done about some teams messing with the QB communications so there is NO blackout period in the last 15 seconds of the play clock?? Many teams ARE doing this and yet as UNFIAR as that is, Goodell has done nothing. Apparently he has double standards as to what is fair and what is NOT fair..and clearly what he says is one thing..in practice another. When Goodell DOES something about these in LINE with how he punished teh Pats then you can talk..otherwise STFU!!!

I'm sure many teams are piping in crowd noise, and I'm sure man teams are messing with the QB communications system. The difference between that and videotaping of signals is that the Jets were able to provide concrete evidence of this, whereas there has been no actual proof that Indy is pumping in crowd noise, or that Indy was messing with New England's QB communications, or that New England was messing with Washington's QB communications, etc. The one time where they may have had something on the Colts as far as piping in crowd noise it was CBS who admitted to doing it, and the NFL office got the radio broadcast of the game which proved it wasn't happening in that instance. I love what Goodell is doing as far as cleaning up the league of their character problems and how strict he is with those issues, especially looking at it days after a player was murdered, but you still need proof before punishing. Punishing teams for alleged infractions is insane, whether it be ProFootballTalk accusing the Colts of piping in crowd noise, New England accusing the Colts of messing with the QB Com system, Washington accusing New England of messing with their QB Com system, or the accusations of people like Rich Gannon that the Patriots have mic'ed up their DLinemen to steal audio signals, you just can't act unless their is actual proof. Of course, since you are an internet tough guy telling people when they can and can't talk and to "STFU" from the comfort of Mom's basement, I wouldn't expect you to be able to figure out something so simple.

It's also very hard to prove. During the Pats game CBS said the problem was on their end, and what other kind of proof is there? Unless someone happens to find a CD labeled "crowd noise" in the Colts audio room, what's Goodell supposed to do?

The two factors with the Pats, which you seem to not be understanding, were that:
1. They were caught red handed.
2. They had recently received a memo warning them to abstain from the activity.

If you could find those elements in the Green Bay case, then you'd have an argument.
