Well, turn the lights out on this one, boys. The referees and one of Boston's biggest stars only showing up a handful of times on top of a three point shooter going cold and, yet, still trying shot after shot, have all combined to doom the Celtics. This game is O-V-E-R.

Absolute joke. How the **** we let Derek Fisher put the Lakers in a position to win that game is pathetic. Great decision making by the Celtics when we closed and had the chance to take the lead.

The Celtics constantly running plays for Ray Allen down the stretch of that game, even though he's completely cold really hurt their chances of winning. Why they didn't give the ball to KG, and Pierce more down the stretch is anyone's guess. That being said, Ray could come back with a huge game 4.

Series, assuming the Celtics don't blow the next 2 games, will probably go to 6 and the Celtics will lose it in LA sadly.
They had their chances in this game, and they squandered many of them.

If Gasol did that in soccer he would of been given at least a foul if not a yellow card. Yet in basketball... he gets free throws.

Well I read it somewhere that the next game after Phil Jackson *****es about the officials the Lakers get all the calls....hmmmm Hopefully Doc will ***** and kobe will get into foul trouble in game 4 like the refs did to pierce tonight....This was total bull**** and we still had chances to win the game if Ray could have knocked down some 3's....The only way the Lakers can play with us is 5 on 8....

As far as I am concerned that was cheating tonight. That match was fixed with the calls. I have no problem if the calls are consistently bad for both sides.

it has to be because this is by far the worst officiated game in history. David Stern should be ashamed at the product he has right now.

I guarantee you that Stern is nothing but happy right now. Everything going exactly according to plan to make sure neither team builds any momentum to make it anything other than a six or seven game series. The refs have done a masterful job for him.

As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, watch for the "officiating," if you can call it that, to swing back the Celtics way in game 4 if they struggle, just like in game two.

I'm absolutely convinced this was engineered to make sure it's a 7 game series. Watch the Celtics get all the calls in the next 2 games and then head back to LA 3-2 up.

It's hard for him to produce when he is on the bench because of BS foul calls....I will give the refs the first 3 fouls they called on him but the last 2 were absolutely ridiculous....He gets elbowed in the face by Artest and he gets the foul??? Pierce was the only outside threat they had and surprise, surprise he was in foul trouble.....I wonder why everytime Pierce would start to look comfortable and look to get it going he would get another foul called on him.....Noone can convince me this game wasn't fixed.....Even down the stretch when the Celts would cut it to 2 the Lakers would be going to the line on the next possession.....They called moving screens on the Celts but what about when Tony Allen got Leg whipped by Bynum on a moving screen....I don't recall a foul but maybe that's because they didn't call one.....Or what about in the 4th when pierce had position on odom and odom climbed his back to get the rebound and put it back......I could spend hours on this game but seeing as most of you saw the game I will let my rant stop here.....

Scott Foster, Eddie F. Rush and Greg Willard have been assigned to referee tonight's Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Celtics and Lakers at TD Garden.

Rush is the referee who gave Celtics center Kendrick Perkins a technical foul for arguing a foul call in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals vs. Orlando. The technical resulted in Perkins being ejected from the game and at the time put him over the NBA limit of seven in the playoffs, which meant a one-game suspension. It was later rescinded by the NBA.
