Boom!!! In 3AM Saturday Morning Tweet Jerry Rice Falls on His Sword

Putting reporters on a hit list because they did their jobs is asinine, for one. You're not "leading" anything but an idiot brigade.

It's not their job to lead brand tarnishing smear campaigns. Does being on television now make someone untouchable American royalty?

So you're in. Great.

No, I avoid such things. Idiot brigades pretty much always are worse than their enemies. I expect this one will be no exception.

Hey, speaking of idiots…

What were the results of your "Should Kraft fire Belichick?" poll during the latest fake scandal you were obviously so taken in by?

I maybe in the minority but I didnt see rice play until the last few yrs of his career and I think he is a bit overrated to be called the greatest FOOTBALL PLAYER of all time. I remember listening to Carl Banks when he won that so called award on NFLN that a lot of former giant players didnt think he was as great as people make him out to be and not everyone believes in that award .
No one asked my opinion whether Jerry Rice was the greatest ever. I certainly would not say so. Greatest receiver ever? Maybe. But how quickly people forget Jim Brown. He was the greatest ever.

It got relegated to the Practice Forum to sit right next to somebody's Should Ian Fire Deus thread...

Jim Brown was a beast because he was so much bigger than other professional football players at the time, and ran over everyone like a locomotive. Put him in his prime in today's NFL and he would be just another pretty good player.

Barry Sanders makes people look stupid in every era of football, 30 years ago, and 30 years from now.

Barry Sanders > Jim Brown

Tom Brady > All

Well you can make that same argument about Jim Brown's size about every former NFL player, or indeed, every athlete and every professional sport. In other words, any professional athlete from the 1960s would not be able to do much in today's game.Brown was so far ahead of every other running back when he played, plus he let his team to a championship, something Sanders never did. However, I recognize Sanders is a great running back. I suppose it's a matter of taste. Would you really call Sanders the greatest football player ever, or just the greatest running back ever?

Until the Pats came into existence the Browns were my team because of Jim Brown.

Running back.

NFL radio has been killing it, they;ve been calling out Rice and anyone else about the pats cheating when over the years every team has had its own little bit of cheating. Said rice can't say he cheated a little, ig he wants to do that the 49s sbs are tainted, so aren't the broncos for manipulating the cap. right now they have b volin on talking about resigning revis.

Wow. Jerry Rice getting killed right now. Loving this.

Anyone know how to contact Reiss to get the ball moving on Aikman and the spying, cheating Cowboys?

This post SuperBowl high is so great in so many unexpected ways.
The FTW tour is going well so far.

It makes me wonder just how amazing the 2007 GFY tour would have been with the right ending....

I have such a different feeling post-Superbowl this time, than I did after the Pats won their first one in 2002.

Then I felt such joy and such relief at FINALLY seeing my Pats win the Superbowl.

This time we were under an immediate assault after we won the AFCCG against the Colts, and this combined with all the other crap we have taken from the media and jealous haters has me seeing red and wanting justice for all the unwarranted slights we have taken.

I want apologies, hypocrisies brought to light, and numerous draft picks returned to the the Pats, both stolen old ones, and new ones for more recent treacheries.
