He doesn't believe he has very talented teammates?
I don't think he believe his WR are as talented as ours. That's just stupid. If he'd said "DBs" . . . then OK.

Well Carter is pretty much even if not better than Seymour.... And im pretty sure ESPN advanced scouts know what they are talking about................

Are you really this dense? Seymour is a five time Pro Bowler, an anchor on a 3 time SB champion defense, and on a track that may end at the Hall of Fame. If you think Carter is "even or better than Seymour" you know nothing. And please show me where ESPN's scouts said Andre Carter is a better player than Richard Seymour. They probably didn't even factor in Seymour because there's a good chance he's not even playing this week.

Well yea WR/QB contests are completely one sided. Maybe someday J. Campbell will be MVP material, but he is young and has a lot to learn. I do believe however that we are quite comparable in other positions.

Well i said as a whole ESPN insiders said that the Redskins DL is better than the Pats. There really is no reason to be so rude. You love your team, I love mine.

Going to ESPN for football knowledge is like going to mac-donalds for a steak. The patriots have the best defensive line in the NFL. There is no question about this fact. They are SCARY dominant. Seymour is one of the greatest 2 gap 3-4 ends to play the game. Wilfork has suplanted Casey Hampton as the best nose in the game...and don't give me that Jameel Williams nonsense, he's a bum. Ty Warren is comprable in skill to Seymour. I'm sure someone is going to jump on me for that but he is so powerful it's scary and his technique is flawless. Jarvis Green when off the bench in passing packages is a dominant pass-rusher, and is very capable of filling in for Seymour. Watch the line play on sunday. You will watch three men MANHANDLE five.

Fine. You all know more than people who study tapes and players for a living.................

Thankfully no one asked him about dogfighting, though I guess we already know how he feels about that.

Of course he shouldn't say the Patriots are more talented. He also shouldn't have said Washington is more talented (because it's fuel, but also because it's ridiculous). He should sidestep the question, or say "talent doesn't always win" or something. NE players don't fall into traps like that.

As for the DL debate, give us a link to ESPN insiders preferring Washington's line. I simply don't believe it, especially with Seymour back.

Well its is scouts take on ESPN Insider. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/features/take2?gameId=271028017

I don't think that was implied. I believe most of us get our information from the football team, or the NFL, rather than the media who will always spin the results to fit their story

I'm pretty confident the Skins would trade their OL for the Pats', considering how banged up Washington's is.

Regards,
Chris

Clinton Portis:
"Talent-wise, I think we [are] the most talented team in the NFL. It's discipline. It's coming together and playing as a team," Portis said. "When it comes to talent, I think we've got more talent than anybody, including the Patriots. You look at the receiving corps they put together, I think our receiving corps is just as talented." .

Was he wearing one of his dresses again? - When his career is over I predict he becomes a woman. Actually I don't take offense when a player says things. They say things all the time and they never affect the outcome of a game as far as I'm concerned. Maybe he's just trying to pump up his team.

If you truly believe they "studied tape" to make that report, you are immensely gullible.

Let's see if he feels the same way after the game.

HAHAHAHA this year is the best year the Pats are having. They are finding out no one can beat them on the field and how "T.O" like players are becoming:singing:

hmm, i dont care and dont take offense of wut portis said...but we defenetely have more talent...

our qb is better, our recievers are way better, our O-line is better (considering WAS injuries...)...also our TE is better (talking about watson) and defenetely so is our rb...who so far has been injured, but not to portis's extent...

did i forget anything? on defense im not sure..but i would have to say there is a good chance WAS secondary can beat ours...and here im talking about Db's...

There's nothing really wrong with Portis saying this, but that being said, after his ignorant comments about the whole Michael Vick dog-fighting fiasco, he doesn't help his situation with the fact of what most people already know, "He's a ******* idiot!"
