I don't think he believe his WR are as talented as ours. That's just stupid. If he'd said "DBs" . . . then OK.He doesn't believe he has very talented teammates?

Well Carter is pretty much even if not better than Seymour.... And im pretty sure ESPN advanced scouts know what they are talking about................

Are you really this dense? Seymour is a five time Pro Bowler, an anchor on a 3 time SB champion defense, and on a track that may end at the Hall of Fame. If you think Carter is "even or better than Seymour" you know nothing. And please show me where ESPN's scouts said Andre Carter is a better player than Richard Seymour. They probably didn't even factor in Seymour because there's a good chance he's not even playing this week.
Going to ESPN for football knowledge is like going to mac-donalds for a steak. The patriots have the best defensive line in the NFL. There is no question about this fact. They are SCARY dominant. Seymour is one of the greatest 2 gap 3-4 ends to play the game. Wilfork has suplanted Casey Hampton as the best nose in the game...and don't give me that Jameel Williams nonsense, he's a bum. Ty Warren is comprable in skill to Seymour. I'm sure someone is going to jump on me for that but he is so powerful it's scary. Watch the line play on sunday. You will watch three men MANHANDLE five.
Thankfully no one asked him about dogfighting, though I guess we already know how he feels about that.
Of course he shouldn't say the Patriots are more talented. He also shouldn't have said Washington is more talented (because it's fuel, but also because it's ridiculous). He should sidestep the question, or say "talent doesn't always win" or something. NE players don't fall into traps like that.
As for the DL debate, give us a link to ESPN insiders preferring Washington's line. I simply don't believe it, especially with Seymour back.
Fine. You all know more than people who study tapes and players for a living.................
I'm pretty confident the Skins would trade their OL for the Pats', considering how banged up Washington's is.
Regards,
Chris

"Talent-wise, I think we [are] the most talented team in the NFL. It's discipline. It's coming together and playing as a team," Portis said. "When it comes to talent, I think we've got more talent than anybody, including the Patriots. You look at the receiving corps they put together, I think our receiving corps is just as talented." .

Let's see if he feels the same way after the game.

There's nothing really wrong with Portis saying this, but that being said, after his ignorant comments about the whole Michael Vick dog-fighting fiasco, he doesn't help his situation with the fact of what most people already know, "He's a ******* idiot!"Clinton Portis:
