Regular season wins:
Shula 328
Halas 318
Belichick 261

So far every year Belichick has gotten 10+ wins closer to those records. If he hangs on for say, 3 more years and maintains that pace he will be within striking distance of both of these guys. I bring this up every year and every year he is getting closer and closer it's going to be hard to quit if he's 20-30 wins away.
If you (or BB) consider playoff wins he’s actually even closer - 57 wins away from Shula if my math is right. The regular season record would require 6 more really good seasons (so, assuming TB counts for something and we’re at a turning point of some sort in that span) maybe 8 seasons. That seems like a lot. The combined record potentially only could take 4 more years of sustaining what is currently happening. Does he walk away from coaching a ****ty 2023 team if he’s like 341 to Shulas 347?

Never! We have human genome mapping and ability to clone now. There will ever be a belichick coaching here and never will anyone win the afc without dealing with him.

Now, these cloned belichick guys will all want napkins and pens

There must always be a Belichick in Foxboro

Bill will never walk away....his final exit will be on a stretcher.
And even then...
BB will InstaFace from the IC unit with Ernie decoding the transmissions

IMO he will coach at least until he surpasses Don Shula's all-time record for regular season victories by a HC. BB trails by 67 so as long he can find a QB after TB12 it should take him about 6 years until the age of 72.

Just in time for TB to retire with him.

Maybe they could bring in a Mike Lombardi type personnel guy for the draft. Seems it could strengthen what's been an area of weakness (Drafting) lately.

No. It really hasn't been an area of weakness.
Just...Stop...It.
In any case, bringing in "outside personnel specialists" who wear suits, and who never participate in coaching the players on the field, is what every other team does.

Other teams have won SBs over the past 2 decades, you do realize?
