Bill’s whole “players win games” thing is him being humble and not wanting to toot his own horn. Obviously if you have bad players you don’t win football games, but a good head coach makes players buy in to the culture and the system and helps elevate the players. No one is better in the NFL at that than Belichick. Just look how many free agents leave the team, go someplace else and flat out don’t look like the same player that they were on the Pats. In some cases the player comes back and it looks like they never missed a beat. He’s also the one that signs and drafts all these guys as well, that’s another thing that goes into it.

Long story short, Brady wouldn’t have won 6 Superbowls without Bill and Bill wouldn’t have won 6 Superbowls without Brady. They’re both the GOATs.

I really don't understand this agenda some posters are trying to push over here about BB's record without Brady. As far as I am concerned if you take 2008, 2020 and 2021 ( 3years without Brady ) his record is 28-20. If you take the 4 games Brady was suspended then it it 31-21. In my book that shows he is winning without Brady !!
Why this is so important right now I have no idea. True Patriot fans should be over the moon that we are back in the playoffs. I know I am. I could care less what the Bucs are doing , I am really happy that we are playing in January and the future is bright for this team. If some of you hate that idea or can't get on board with this team then stop posting over here and being Debbie downers towards people that really love this team and it's coaches !!

Not surprised for a bit that BB turned this around after losing huge pieces and a dead cap year. I actually thought this roster could contend all the way. But forgot the staff around BB needs upgrades particularly on the offensive staff.

We are so fortunate in New England. I watched a clip of the Bengals fans yesterday going insane over winning their division. It's been so regular here(I know we haven't yet this year)I think we've almost forgotten what it's like to have a long drought of even that level of success. I mean I felt it during our 10 year between SB championships and I remember what it meant to me in SB49. These Bengals fans feel like that just winning their division. And here we are again already with a chance after only a one year "drought"

Nah, Bill won‘t retire until Steven is ready to take the reins, and it will be a smooth transition. Just like the transition from Bob to Jon. And the dynasty will keep on rolling.

I can only explain how I feel. To me it all comes down to the importance of players over coaches. Is Matt LaFleur better than Bill? Of course not. Bill is clearly the GOAT. But both of them are only coaches and need players to win. It's that simple to me.

As for rooting for Brady, I also feel that I can be a fan of both the Pats and Brady. What's the big deal? I've been a fan of the Pats since they were born, attended my first game at Fenway Park in the mid 60's and I'm still a fan now. I also appreciate all that Brady gave us for 2 decades. But if they were to meet in the SB I'd be firmly in the Pats corner, not Brady's.
