Bill’s first offer…

Would that creat a legal battle that would end with us getting draft picks like the Jets with BB? All the sudden all the tank people are wishing this happened.
Not sure about a legal battle but @raduray's point was the NEP should have opened up the search- which I agree with.

My point was if there was/wasn't the succession language, Mayo would do whats best for him and interview for HC vacancies thus risking he would go to another team.

Yeah I'm just screwing around, curious if the tank people would also give up a coach for draft picks.

He won't do it but BB is a top 3 DC in the league right now if he decides to do that. Maybe even #1.
i don't disagree with that, every team would be lucky to have him but how abstrus would that be

Wonder how much Bill gets paid in ATL. Pretty sure it won't be 20M.

5 of the top 10 highest paid HC's made the playoffs. 3 remain in the CCGs. I can't believe Davis was paying Josh 10M. Lol

3 of the bottom 5 lowest paid HCs made the playoffs. The other 6 playoff coaches must be between 5-10M as are the rest of the ones not listed.

My guess, Bill falls back to the lower end of the top 10.

Probably. After all, he's got that settlement money, not to mention the hundreds of millions he got from Kraft over the years.

Don't we already know he's still number 1 for at least 1 more years.

He didn't spend any of the 100s of millions, instead living off subway commercials like Gronk?

He's not hurting for money, is the point.
Absolutely, that's why I've been saying his best bet is in a network booth for an easy 20M/yr w/ little effort or stress. Does he really care about the worthless Shula record that much?

Hired Brian Callahan, OC with the Bengals. That's not great news if we want Tee Higgins...
Tee Higgins is staying in CIN.

He’s a coach. He likes coaching. He’s likely to remain a coach.

And he might not be a good broadcaster. Monosyllabic comments interspersed with twenty minute soliloquies about the history of long snappers is not what they want in the broadcast booth.

personally I’d love it if he could remake himself into a persona suited for broadcasting, he could end up better than Madden, but I don’t think he can or would do it.

I've listened to Bill in interviews and he's nothing like he comes across in those pressers. He's actually charismatic and likeable. I think he'd be great at it, filling in boring times during games w/ one of his stories. He can also be quite funny.

I honestly have no desire to see him go down coaching the Falcons. It'll be a failure and a dark mark to end his career. Sometimes even the greats have to know when to hang it up. It's just sad man.

LaFleur deserves a pay raise for his tremendous job this season. He managed to win without his HOF QB what was BBs excuse?

I'm hoping for a book.
