BB was on WEEI for his weekly chat and was asked about Don Shula's comments. Bill had nothing but good things to say about the old coach. Spoke about their long history together and how Shula has done a lot for him over the years. Said Shula was entitiled to his opinion (about Spygate) but says he continues to have great respect for him.
I'm very confident the national media will completely ignore BB's gracious words. Simply doesn't fit their agenda. Besides they're busy scouring the countryside looking for some former trainer or water boy who might want to rip on Bill.

LOL. Exactly.

It will be ignored by the national media, and they will continue to have their chuckle about the asterisk.. for those of us who know how Bill think, we expect him to be ths gratious.

Sad, but true!

Even Reiss who normally reports what he said/she said hasnt mentioned anything yet.

I wouldn't expect anything less from BB. Whether he really believes what he said or not is another story.

It was interesting because he went far beyond what was required, commenting repeatedly on how much "Coach Shula" had contributed to the game and to him personally. It really stood out in an otherwise lackluster Big Show appearance -- BB had his "press conference voice" on.

I'm glad to hear that, even if it was disingenuous. Public-facing opinons and comments are not the same as private when you're in that business.

Besides, what more can you say about a jaywalking ticket?

You realize of course that Sula was a friend of Bill's dad and knew Bill as a small boy ? Makes makes you so sure it was disingenuous ?

Now that Bill repeated his classy comments about Coach Shula on New York radio surely his comments will now get picked up by all the national media.
Right?

Not a word in the New York papers about "Classy Bill" and his classy comments about Don Shula made on NY radio yesterday.
Nothing from Don Banks, Peter King.....
This is so puzzling!

still nothing.
