Belichick Has New Book Coming Out: The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football

All this makes me wonder if what was really going on was displacement, with Jonathan rebelling against his father’s control but instead of butting heads with his father choosing to lock horns with his long standing coach?

If so maybe the Mayo fiasco was the last gasp of the old man’s control of things.

Reportedly Jonathan had contact with Vrabel while Mayo was still head coach. If Vrabel is Jonathan’s man the two won’t be pulling in different directions and things might work again.

Let’s hope.
It’s pretty clear Jonathan has had his imprint on this team for years. It also looks like he didn’t care who the head coach was as long as he had input on who the GM and offensive coach was. He fancies himself an Al Davis/Jerry Jones type owner, part coach, part scout, part GM… and that’s concerning to me.

He was no doubt the impetus to “modernize” the offense. Which is why I find reverting back to Josh McDaniels and the old system ironic. Also why Josh expounded on his experience this off-season out of the league and all the modern and new things he learned from college… this sounds like something they wanted to hear. It’s still the old system.

I think Bob has been in the passenger seat for a while, but he has been willing to take the hits for the mistakes made so Jon has a clean slate with the fans. Wolf stunk at his job or Mayo and crew simply couldn’t develop young talent or both. Pretty sure that wasn’t by design.

You cant buy anything from within the app. You have to buy it from amazon.com but the app will let you read your books.
Pissed me off when that became a thing.

That recently changed. You can buy from the app now. I just did today, starting book 6 of Malazan as soon as wife closes her eyes tonight.

Good riddance to that nuisance!

My son gave me a kindle a few years ago. I'll have to dust it off and give it a try.
I recommend it, I fought it for so long out of some purity of physical books. But if you like to read a lot, it's one of the most convenient things you can have. If you travel a lot, easy to bring on a plane or airport lounge, way more convenient to read on the beach and not worry about sand and water, takes up next to zero space

Apple has an app for i-devices called books which you can buy and download books from, I used it for six years spending about three hundred dollars a year. When I retired I joined my towns library, the public library system in the country has a great online library, two apps they use to download are Hoopla and Libby, the books are free. So most of my books are ebooks from the library, if they don’t have the book I will use Apple Books.
I quit buying books. I do read a lot and between Libby and library checkouts, I get to read anything I choose. I can't do ebooks, my mind wanders to often.

I watched the 30 for 30 bill and bill parcells two nights ago... for the second or third time.

His defenses with the giants were amazing.

Having LT definitely helped... but those defenses were making the 49ers look like garbage.

BB has had a stellar coaching career...

8 sb rings is no joke.
