He was their best CB that season. And he was better than the guys that were getting lit up all game. All they needed was one stop.
He wasn’t better than Gilmore

I agree, actions like hiring Matt Patricia to run your offense and benching Butler in a Super Bowl because he hurt someone’s fee-fees speak louder than words like “do your job” and “doing what’s best for the football team”
Everything he did he felt was in the best interest of the team.

Everything you do is holding a grudge for it and hating. Which is your right just own that you hate him and stop pretending you don't.

I’m sure he blames Kraft for it
He's never blamed anyone else for it. He's always owned it as something he felt was in the best interest of the team.

thats a lil diff than throwing the biggest game to prove a point
Malcolm Butler was one of the worst starting CB’s in 2017, gave up bushels of TD’s and yards… he sucked.

He got benched in Tennessee after they paid him a massive contract by Vrabel. Eric Rowe meanwhile was a better player going forward. Butlers absence did nothing but help.

If he believes hiring Matt Patricia for his offense and benching Butler for Rowe and Jordan Richards in a Super Bowl was in the best interest of the team then all the more reason it was time for him to go.

I like good coaching way better than bad.

Is that why the Eagles players thought it was hilarious that Rowe was playing in the Super Bowl and not Butler?

Don’t remember Vrabel benching Butler for inferior players in a Super Bowl but keep defending that wall for the coach who is out of the league now.
Vrabel benched Butler for Adoree Jackson, his nickel CB, because Butler sucked. Another case where facts aren’t your friend.

Didn’t know he did that in a Super Bowl to let Nick Foles kick his ass.

Better than Stephon Gilmore, the guy they put on Alshon Jeffrey…. what kind of glue are you sniffing?

You aren't capable of letting your bias go you've even suggested you like Mayo more than Bill several times this season. You just don't have a clue what good coaching looks like.

The defense got their ass kicked because all their best defenders got hurt entering, or in the playoffs.

Hightower, 350 pound nose tackle Alan Branch, nickel CB Jon Jones and Patrick Chung.

Learn the game.

Mayo sucks and so did Bill the last couple of seasons with him

And Rowe and Jordan Richards got starting snaps over Butler. He just needed to make one stop to flip the outcome and he would have.

The Eagles were laughing at Rowe playing over Butler. I don’t blame them I would have laughed too.

Rowe played instead of Malcolm Butler.

Jordan Richard’s didn’t play until Patrick Chung got hurt because he’s a strong safety not a CB, they don’t even play the same position.

Again… learn the game.
