I didn't realize NCAA starts this weekend , I'm still with that feeling that there still a few weeks ahead. Great news, this is a terrible time of the year when there is only baseball going on and with many teams already out of the playoff picture.

There are some games this weekend, but the real meat on the bone starts next weekend. That is the best weekend of the year, IMO. Summer is still here, but fall is a few weeks away and college week one starts up. I can go from the beach to the bars to watch some college football with the knowledge that pro ball is a couple of weeks away. It's phenomenal. The Gators play Michigan too in what should be a staunch defensive contest and a very hard-hitting affair. Good first test for my boys in what feels like ages. This is the also the first time they've played away from the Swamp in Week 1 in forever. Then FSU has a showdown with 'Bama in what could be one of the most entertaining games of the year.

Me too OTG. Not because I pretend to know his upside but I do like to see what a guy does when all his chips are down. C. Jones has proven to be a scrapper. Good sign. If BB thinks he's good enough to make the roster we'll know at a minimum this guy will fight anyone and anywhere. Kind of reminds me of another beloved dude in the secondary.

He has played well in one game and not-so-well well in several, so it remains to be seen if he has turned it around or not. However, as you say, he isn't anything if not a scrapper, that is why I was so excited when the Pats drafted him, I felt that he could bring some additional toughness and "fight" into the secondary.

He was the last guy that I expected to experience the loss of confidence that he did last year. Hopefully he is beginning to turn it around and will become a big contributor for the Pats.

I'm hoping for a great redemption story here. It's possible... think of Cyrus... as being down 28-3.

i think bill is praising him becuase his psyche is so fragile and confidence is so low. i hope they cut him. last thing i want to see is cyrus jones returning punts.
