Before and after Spygate

we all know that the spygate issue is old news and that anyone who still thinks the pats are tainted is an idiot, but for those who are interseted it breaks down like this

since spygate game - 30-7 (including postseason)

37 games before spygate - 25-12 (including postseason)

and of course for 15 of those games since they did not even have tom brady playing.

note: i did not include the spygate game in either group


also off topic - the pats have now won 17 games in a row at home when tom brady starts including the postseason

They could have gone 0-37 since and it wouldn't change the fact that the taping didn't help them.

It's clear the tapes had no impact on winning or losing. Issues that still dumbfound me about the Video Witch Hunt:

1. How is it considered "stealing" signals, if the hand motions are done in full view of 60,000 fans, as well as the entire TV audience?

2. How is it sneaky or under-handed, when even now it is legal for teams to videotape hand signals from a dozen other locations in the stadium, just not from the sideline?
