Wow, some of you guys are just jerks! I was on my lunch break and turned on Sirius and literaly heard, and now on from the New England Patriots Coach BB. I figured I would just give a quick heads up in case others had Sirius. After that I had an appointment and couldn't post more info.
A couple of things. Sirius doesn't do transcripts so I can just try recounting from memory. Most things NFL related are on Sirius NFL radio channel 124.
The interview was about 15 minutes and sounded much like both of BB's draft press conferences.
-Mayo pick, said that the NO trade was talked about on Friday and that helped since the move to the 10 minute format and it was pretty well known that NO was targeting Ellis. He said that Mayo could play the Mike, Will and Sam (I believe) in the Pats LB schemes.
-Both CB picks, said that both fit the type of CBs that they look for. When asked about how they will evaluate all of the CBs. BB reiterated his stance of "I don't care how you got here, the only thing that matters is how you play when you are here."
-O'Connell pick, said that he was a value pick and said that he liked how he played under pressure since he was always on the run since SDSU's line wasn't that good during his time there.
