How many division titles has he won in his career without Tom Brady as his QB?

Just for context the Patriots have a grand total of 3 AFC east championship without Bill as the coach.

Maybe it was all TB and Bills just a lucky moron but maybe Bill had something to do with it and I wish be people wouldn't be such ingrates.

And here's an indisputable fact Brady has never won an AFC East Division title without Bill but a Bill has won 1 without Tom.

There are posters on here with nothing going on in their life. They are just miserable and want to ruin things for everyone else
How do grown men let other men ruin things for them on an online football forum?

He said that they -wanted- to ruin things, not that anyone was -letting- them.

So what's the issue, just put whomever triggers you on ignore or mute. I don't understand this constant gripping about other posters when the solution is right at your finger tips. It would certainly clean these threads of the constant back and forths, complaining, whining, etc.

I'll stick around thanks and I'll continue to celebrate all 3 Brady, Bill, and the Patriots for as long as I'm breathing and I won't be some ungrateful little snob.
I'm grateful for what Bill has done. He is the GOAT of his generation, I just think that generation has past him by.

His past success doesn't equal his future success and I think he is in decline and the results prove themselves.

Hiring his son, bringing in Matt Patricia and Joe Judge who failed miserably as HC and were HC to terrible offenses were terrible decisions.

Matt Patricia had a borderline HOF QB in Det and he the offense was terrible, let's make him the OC, Brilliant.

Joe Judge was HC over a young QB who looked like the worst starting QB in the league under his reign, let's make him the QB coach, Brilliant again.

How can you defend those decisions?

Because some people want this site to be strictly a hero worship of Belicheck and can't stand that not everyone feels the same way.

They can't comprehend that plenty of people think Bill is one of the GOATs/or is the GOAT but at the same time find it completely possible that a 70 year old man might not be the best thing for the Patriots and Mac Jones going forward.

These hero worshipers blame every single loss on the players or coordinators, which is funny since Bill picks both, then give all the credit to Bill for any mild success.

Then show the man some respect. You can think it's over without carrying on like jerk. And constantly trying to stick it in people's faces who still think there is plenty of gas left in the tank.

It doesn't have to be strictly but given the name of the site I think those who still hero worship Bill and Tom should be shown a little respect.

I don't constantly stick it anyone's face. This thread is specifically about how much time Bill has left a HC.

I don't jump into any random thread to discuss Bill.

This thread is the perfect place to discuss how empty that tank is

Wanting Bill to be gone is not showing disrepect. I'm basing it in his current performance.

If there is a thread dedicated to what Bill has done and his legacy you will only see positive comments from me

My opinion is that it is way too early in the season to advocate for a coach to be fired (barring a scandal). Let's see how things play out and go from there. He still has a lot of value to the players; he is a great teacher and a season of losing or struggling with BB's legendary film sessions could be a great springboard for next season (if this is a down year) for a BB led team or a new coach. The opinion that the game has passed him by is your right to have, but seems premature to me and the bigger question to me is "who replaces BB?" It better be someone with a really thick skin because they are gonna be scrutinized for every detail that is different than BB's way (both the GM and the HC). Who's out there that is better than BB? I'm sure someone will emerge, it's just hard to imagine right now.

You're right. Grier took over at the 96 draft and Glenn was in that class along with Bruschi and Milloy. Obviously things went south with Grier as GM after Tuna left.

But I am sure Law, Drew, TJ, Willie were Parcells picks and I believe it was Parcells that signed Vinatieri.
We also need to look at where they were picked. Kind of hard to screw up when guys are taken #1, #3, #4. The only time Belichick picked this high #6 he found a future Hall if Famer.

To be fair, Bill Parcells brought BB to the Pats as a assistant HC/DB coach after being a failed HC in Cleveland and then made him assistant HC/DC in NY. BB brought back McDaniels after crashing and burning with Broncos (and off to a terrible start in LV). The difference was, BB and McDaniel's weren't brought in to now run the other side of the ball and didn't have inflated ego's like Patricia and Judge. The son's are untouchable for obvious reasons which creates resentment. This staff looks dysfunctional.

Bill's coaching staff in the early days were the best as they were veterans on the come up (including Bill) without the egos.

It's not an easy situation. On one hand you have the best coach of his generation and a key figure in delivering the dynasty. But things don't last forever. I think it's fair to question if Bill at this point and even more so going forward will be as sharp as he was when he was younger. Does he have the same level of stamina and drive? Aging is real. We've seen him give key roles / positions to family and friends who may not be the best options. Is he surrounding himself with people he likes to work with rather than the best people for the job? I think these are fair questions to ask.

If I'm Kraft and doing internal evaluations, especially while writing a yearly cheque to Belichick in the range of $25m, I'm asking these types of questions. If the Krafts feel we are not setting the team up to compete for a SB in the coming years than they have to address it. He's 70 right now, what's this gonna look like in 5 years when he's 75? Also, Robert Kraft is in his 80's. As time moves on Jonathon will have more and more say. He may not see Belichick in his 70's as the one to move the franchise forward. Lots at stake for the next decade or so of this franchise. The Krafts will make the call that they see best.

What kind of logic is this? Brady won a SUPER BOWL without Belichick. At age 43
