BB: Jets defense "looks like they xeroxed the Ravens playbook."

It just occurred to me that what's most impressive about that comment is BB knows so much about the Ravens' defensive playbook.

I think BB knows everyones playbook. ;-).

Where's he hiding the cameras these days?

Up your butt. That's how he knows what your face looks like.

There is no doubt he knows the style of defense going to be played against him. Hell they scored 27 points against them 2 years ago. The 2 questions are: Can this version of the OL handle this defense? yes they are the same personel but they are no way operating at the same level now nor last year.
Also although you guy's are running the same offense can the OC call the same game it is a different OC? In the 07 game Brady threw it 37 times.

I stated in the Sunday game thread discussion about how much of the Jets D came from the Ravens playbook and was mystified at why Houston hadn't done its homework. This is why I keep saying Ryan is utilizing Jenkins as his personal Ray Lewis, because many of those D packages have the same characterism with Jenkins motioning to hybrid LB on pressures up the middle.
Good point.
NT/ILB
Same position concept

I don't think there's any chance in hell that one coach would take that as a compliment from another coach. It's essentially saying, "You have no original ideas of your own," which may very well be true for ALL of the National Football League, but saying it out in public means somethings. That's a diss. Doesn't bother me. I'm tickled that he'd amp things up like that. Makes it all more fun.

it's more than a diss. he's telling the rest of the league where to look.

i also like the idea that he's trying to get rex to install something new for this week that the idiots on the jets can no doubt, not execute in time for sunday. confusion on a defense is TB's BFF.

Well, if the Jets D has the same plays and matches the intensity and physical play of the Ravens back then (as duplicated by the Gints during that SB), our O is certainly going have problems because (a) they did not do well during those games and got help from the bungling of a Ravens coach, and (b) if a healthy TB couldn't do that well back then, how will a rusty TB fare?

Thoughts?

Ever play and every game is hard. They are all intense.
The Jets aren't the Ravens.

I have a feeling Makabeli The Don has something extra-special planned for Rex Ryan's Jets this Sunday. :violent:

Brady is just as much an offensive coordinator these days as whomever is calling the plays. I believe Brady has a lot of input on the game plan.

you should see the thread on this in the jets forum. Obsessing on how much we suck and cheat blah blah. Acting like BB called Rex a fatass or something. I'm not registered over there, I just like reading some of the threads from those tards

There's a surprise, NY fans shooting their mouths off. Again. :horn: Yappin' is what they do best. Kind of like a little yippy pomeranian, making all that noise but not really serving any meaningful purpose in life.
