BB dragged Jones out of the field with him at the end of the game

This roster is pretty bad despite the upgrades. The loss of White is brutal. Smith seems like a bust. Why anyone thought he could be a top TE at 12 mil is beyond me.

I am not sure what to think about Mac yet. Having him throw 50 times is career suicide. We can't do that again.

We just don't have enough top end talent. Not enough play makers on either side. This year is just for development I think and also to sort out these FAs.

"Dragged". Hahaha.

One thing I'm not worried about is our QB.

Can some of you please turn off "As The World Turns" and put down "The Enquirer" before posting? Please?

What a bunch of drama queens.

Because 600 yards 12 TDs rushing is a threat that opposing defenses must account for. Cam was basically another RB option.

If I am correct about Mac not belonging in this league, Cam haters are going to despise Mac way worse.
We do need another rb... Cam he pass protect?

Jones looked absolutely broken on the bench at the end of the game lost in thought as everyone else was shaking hands on the field. I don’t know if he was crying but someone claimed he was. It was really unsettling.

He looked like Brady did on the sidelines for most of the year in 2019, minus the temper tantrums, but Tommy was “frustrated” while Mac “looked absolutely broken”. Give me a f*cking break with this crap.

Oh man this isn’t good, Belichick grabbed his left hand as if to say your right arm is worthless. I think we should flip Mac for a 6th rounder while he still has some value, see if we can trade Belichick back to the Jets, and then trade first round picks from 2022-2032 to the Bucs for Brady. Make Alex Guerrero the head coach.

We're "rebuilding". Same as half the league.

If Brady was here and we had spent all this money on FA, we'd be "loading up for a Championship run" or in "win now" mode.

But since the QB is a rookie, we're "rebuilding", which is basically euphemism for "finding a QB that works"

The way this team looked yesterday we wouldn't be winning with Brady. Remember 2019 second half of the season? Same problems different QB

I was at the game and saw this happen. Was right in front of me. Winston came over and said something, seemed encouraging, then Mac got Up to go towards field. Bill took him away.when I saw it I thought it was strange but didn’t think it was a big deal

Jameous was probably like "don't worry kid, I threw 30 interceptions one season"

The job Bill has being doing the last 2-4 years hasn’t been great let’s put it this way.

why everything has to be black and white these days? There is no place for grey anymore.

To be considered a pats fan around here, you basically need to swallow everything Bill does singing Kumbaya and it’s wrong

Talk to the anti-Belichick crowd who recreate history and give Brady all the credit for the dynasty and point to Belichick's record in Cleveland to prove he was always a bad coach and talk but when Brady came in week 2 in 2001 that the Patriots defense was so inspired by Brady that they played better and that without Brady they would suck..

But you are certainly not talking about me. I have been heavily critical of Belichick the GM over the last five or six years. Belichick the head coach has had to work around a lot of mistakes of Belichick the GM in recent years.

Again, making something out of nothing. (1)The kid still can't grow a full beard, (2)was the 1st round pick, (3)is trying to fill the shoes of the greatest QB to ever play the game, and (4)has a showdown looming with the aforementioned GOAT next week. We don't know if he was crying or really frustrated, he has room for improvement and hopefully has the character to eventually figure it out. I for one, hope Bill is taking the time to teach the kid and he is accepting that tutelage. He's gonna need it to stay somewhat focused for next week. Just seeing Brady on the bench pouting after losing to the Rams and knowing how he comes back after a loss made me queasy.

From what I've observed thus far, I feel like Mac takes losses very hard. And in turn is hard on himself. It's a good trait. But it could potentially be negative too.

You can't let yesterday (Saints) take up too much of today (Prep for Bucs).

Who’s “they”? I don’t see anyone who thinks that way
If you don't know who "they" is, then you aren't really following the discussions.

He probably took him away so he could talk to him privately. Give him words of encouragement.

You can't get too down or too up after one regular season game. There will always be some adversity. But thus far I've seen nothing from Jones to indicate he won't be a very good QB.
Yeah, it would be great if he wasn't getting his ass handed to him on almost every down. Dude is getting pummeled out there, they need to do something about the line or Mac needs to learn how to protect himself better.

If the line doesn't improve than they need to put Hoyer out there.

You can't have a rookie getting the Andrew Luck treatment.

It's not just the line it's on the QB as well. They all need to figure it out or call the game accordingly. The playcalling has been bad to say the least.
