It was a cowardly call and the usual BB defenders trying to rationalize yet another bad decision. In the grand scheme of a 34-0 blowout will that win us the game? Doubtful. But if you convert a makeable 4th and 3 and score a TD there it shifts momentum and at least gives a small chance of winning down 24-7.
