Ball Security in the Pocket

Munford is the D man... He is going to run straight at anderson ...

One random thought . Why can't offensive linemen just go forward and attack the defensive linemen if the numbers are advantageous to us .. 5 linemen + 1 full back + 1 tight end to chip and 1 passing back in backfield against 4 defensive linemen . I am getting influenced by these war movies here
I don't like the the thought of less athletic players (Oline vs Line) going forward in attack mode in pass blocking. One side step by a much better athlete and it's a clear path to Maye!

Maye has to realize with a most likely defensive game, sometimes throwing it away or taking a sack and punting is a win.
He threw away numerous times and he already had 5 sacks

If Drake sees a big play developing if he can slip away
Then go for it
That’s been his game this year
I know Houston has been pumped up as unbeatable
But let Drake be Drake
Their weakness is the deep ball
He’ll beat them
He’s had some TO’s but much better than last year

There are teams left where you will need to match them score for score. This is not one of those teams. If each drive ends in a kick (fg, punt, or xp), the Patriots will 100% win this game.

That is easier said than done. But ball security is critical.

Thanks for the discussion and feedback. Yes I have not seen each game of the season, so my perspective is limited in comparison to many of you.

I'm a huge supporter of Maye, and was happy to buy my son-in-law a #10 jersey for Christmas. We are driving up from Virginia tomorrow and look forward to a memorable weekend in Massachusetts.

Here's hoping Maye hits multiple deep balls, suffers no turnovers, and the Pats win decisively.
