Some of those are weird. Yeah Chad Johnson, Randy Moss, Jamal Lewis, and Jared Allen have produced but they have all shown the character issues in the Pros that worried people when they were in college.

A certain Rodney Harrison had a very bad reputation at the *professional level* (as opposed to mere college era hijinks). How did that work out for us? Losing a player completely due to substance abuse/Arrest issues is one thing. But I think the bigger issue is how does a player affect the locker room? I don't believe that all 53 of the Pats are in the hero/saint category but they all seem to rally around each other which implies a basic level of respect. If a player couldn't command that respect *then* I'd pass on him.
