The churn at the backup qb position is pretty amazing. All within 4 weeks time

1. Zappe cut from 53 man roster
2. MattCorral signed to 53 man roster
3. Zappe signed to PS
4. Zappe elevated from PS to 53 man roster
5. Matt Corral put on "did not report list"
6. Matt Corral preliminarily signed to PS
7. Matt Corral signing to PS cancelled
8. Will Grier signed off Cincinnati PS to Pats 53 man roster

Seems like they never really had a good plan. They could have signed a preferred UFA backup earlier in the offseason. Zappe must be thinking that they have absolutely zero confidence in him. Not sure Will Grier can "mentor" Jones as he is only 2 years older.
If anything happens to Mac, this team will have a shot at # 1 overall draft pick.
