AVP didn't know Marcus Jones played offense until recently

If they are going to do this then they need to have their eye on a guy who will be the long term solution at head coach. I don’t care what the sport is once you get into a cycle of hiring and firing coaches every other year the franchise goes to ****. The other factor here is that Wolf needs to be the one leading the search, and making the hire. He’s the one in charge of football operations, and it will be his ass on the line if it goes awry.

Wolfe needs to go too.

One way or another AVP was not paying attention. My recollection is that there were statements specifically about Marcus not playing offense to avoid over taxing the player since he was already a key ST guy.
I recall that overtaxing comment That's why I was surprised to see Marcus out there on O.

Is this where we start the BBB movement ???

Out of touch.

How does the offensive coordinator not know how his team scored the past few seasons.

Meanwhile, Bill could tell you that marcus ran for 206 yards 15 years ago in pop Warner, and the wind was at his face 75% of the time at 32mph.
Bill could also have a Jamar Chase level WR fall into his lap and he’d pass & trade down to draft a wide receiver from some obscure school who is high character, rates 2000 at chess, and has a merit badge.

On the list of people that are most at fault for this mind boggling reveal AVP isn’t even at the top.

None of the frigging people who have been here and watched Marcus Jones make plays on offense brought that up???

Its really wierd. Even our PatsFans Board brought it up.

I thought a PatsFans poster entering into NFL coaching was crazy, but since we are one step ahead of the present Pats management team, I am going to have to reconsider. Let's see who around these parts would be a good fit?

He'd develop a 6th rounder to make up for it

The draft was horrible, and most of his FA signings were busts.

He hit the layup.

Where else did he do good?

He picked their franchise QB, one that Belichick would not have taken, nor would have half the people on this board. The rest of the draft is unknown for at least another year or two, andanyone who thinks they can be evaluated now is completely full of ****. And the free agent market sucked ass. So your premise is total ********.

Except many teams don't hit the "layup"

I argued endlessly with posters on this board who were against taking Maye with that pick, and now they suddenly all love him and “ wanted him all the way.”

**** that. Wolf is doing a good job turning this franchise around, and expecting miracles from him in less than a year is total ********.

You hitting the juice a little early this evening Ivan?

I don't know, maybe this is why JuJu, Uche & TT are all playing for the SB champions, but we couldn't get one play out of them.
There may be a misunderstanding in the phrasing, but it doesn't take much to see this coaching staff doesn't know how to self scout, or pay attention to details that cost close games.
Will be interesting to see how Thornton does in KC.
