I think Maye's done a good job with AVP

They work well together which is important because not every OC and QB mesh.

Big Ben and Todd Haley did not for years. Look at the problems Patricia caused for the great Corky Jones. Cost NE a Super Bowl berth.

Did you not watch The Dynasty where Bob admitted he threatened Bill with “it better work” when Bledsoe lost his job. He just made Bledsoe the highest paid QB in NFL history and was benched in favor of a 2nd year 6th round pick.

You are exactly correct. HEB gave Bledsoe all that money against BBs wishes. Remember when Bledsoe was lost in Montana during contract talks and the Patriots future hung in the balance if Bledsoe agreed to a new deal or not? Basically holding the Pats hostage? After Bledsoe recovered from allowing himself to be rocked by Moe Lewis, he went crying to Kraft for his job back.

I have a hard time believing that Bledsoe would have beat the Rams in the Super Bowl.

A Pats radio announcer at the time (Gil Santos?) summed it all up in a few words. Basically... "Bledsoe is a reactionary passer and Brady is an anticipatory passer"

It depends on the defense. Running between the tackles if the defense has three DTs playing or 8/9 guys in the box is silly. Two stupid runs into a strong "run stuffing" defense is controversial.

Then fire Wolf. He is in charge of the roster. He signed Takitaki and let Wilson Jr. go who was having a great year. There were plenty of LBs in FA we could have signed.
