I like the contract. But 2 Okay TEs do not make a for 1 very good TE so let's not fall into the trap of thinking they do. I'd still like a top end guy eventually... but they are hard to get. Still need that #1 pass catcher. I hope we can get Hunter cause it may be that or bust the way WRs are going in free agency.
I think they are better than ok but we aren't done I'm sure.

We now have one position group that is NFL-level.
Like this re-signing a lot, actually.
McDaniels love those Double TE sets both guys are getting up there too. Plenty Dept TE's available in this Draft we should get one.

That's 8th and 24th out of like 80 TEs.
Ok. I call that adequate. If you disagree with that characterization, fine. Call it "pretty good," if you like. What's the point? ONE element of the team is pretty good. Bring on the pompoms' set up a go-fund-me for Bill's statue. All is well, recaulk the duck boats.

This is quite the strawman you're creating. Let us know when you're finished with it.

Solid, good signing.
The only concern I have is Henry & Hooper will both turn 31 this year, not very fast, nor good YAC TE's.
But they are great 3rd Down blankies for a young QB - which is reason #1.
They seem more redundancy for each other - in case of injury.
What we still need is an athletic playmaker as the "move"-TE for JMD. Maybe Bell can be unlocked.
Or - I'm expecting a draft pick to develop after our 2 aging starters.

Tbh probably one of the better TE tandems in the league. So they got that going for them. Just need competent WRs and OL, and they can be productive.
Hooper had a Daniel Graham type effect last season for Drake. He's a willing blocker.. can get behind LBs and safeties, great hands, solid veteran leader. He knows how to get open.

I think we all agree that they could add a TE just don't NEED to make it a priority. 4th overall? No! Day 3? sure

I think Quite a few TE's are going to be available in the Fourth...some we might not even think. I like your find Jalin Conyers looks like a fine player with Great ball skills.

Good for another year. But, with this years class stocked at TE, we not only need to draft one, but to nail the pick (same with DL, RB, and WR).
I still like jaheim bell.. we need to start getting something out of guys we already have on the roster so we aren't as pressed each yeah entering the draft. Bell is someone with talent that McDaniels could develop into a good TE especially with Henry and Hooper over 30.

The 8th best in the league is better than adequate.
Add in the 24th best to go with him.
Seems you're trying awfully hard to be negative

I think Austin Hooper is a very good signing: if he can put up 476yds in a high school Offense... I can't wait to see what he does in real one.

Yep. Since both TEs are over 30 they'll need to get younger sooner than later but it's not a priority this year.

I hope H Henry is hitting the weights with those Cheerleader arms embarrassing.
