On a team like this - devoid of talent - I’d be fine going top dollar for all the non premium positions. Like; if NE had the best C, best TE, best S, best K…. I know it’s not realistic, but when you have problems at almost every position, you can’t spend top dollar / top draft capital and fill all of the expensive positions (WR, LT, CB)…

Hooper was pretty good last year & this is positive.

No, of course not.. I said they are adequate. They are adequate. Average 8th and 24th, you get 16th: dead-on average, adequate. You'll have to do better than that.

Top 10 tight end for the worst passing offense in the NFL doesn’t cry for improving TE position, it screams that improving other parts of the offense is a critical need.

Agree that OL should be the top priority. Any talk about improving TEs is counterproductive distraction.

NO ONE averages the #1 and #2 players at a position like TE! Take KC and average their top TEs together & they're good, but not great! Is that how it works???
