As Preseason Super Bowl Rematch Nears, Lane Johnson Is Back Talking Patriots

It's too bad their division is so weak. I really don't want them to make the playoffs as they do have some tough games but that division....oy! I guess they're as good or better than the AFC East.

Who is Lane Johnson anyway? Only reason I even know his name is apparently he *****es a lot about the Patriots.

This again...someone said this in the last Lane Johnson thread. He might be a **** but he's also one of the best offensive linemen in the league and you should probably know who he is.

I'd not write off the NFC East. Division play is a different animal entirely.....and the season is LONG.

I think looking back at 20 years everyone will be bothered by this lost to the iggles for a lot of reasons. You playing a backup QB. Don’t even touch him. I just hope we have one more in us but that remains to be seen with this defense.

We know this defense cannot play any worse and we were still a strip sack away from putting up another trophy. I know Brady may not put up those kind of numbers either so it'll all even out. I know I want a rematch with these clowns. I want to see if they still talk all off season if they lose the rematch. I want to see it so bad. I also don't want them to make the playoffs just to see how fun the regular season was for them. Such a conundrum.

A roided jerk

I'm just saying if you consider yourself a serious fan of the NFL, it says more about you than Lane Johnson if you don't know who he is.

Good to know. I don’t watch eagles games and they don’t make highlights of offensive linemen.

Now everyone knows who he is, but more so they know who he isn’t.

Only against the Pats where you beat them but still nobody gives you respect. The anger of Lane Johnson is more towards the media dismissing whoever wins the Super Bowl and acts as if the Pats won, even if they lost. The perception among fair weather fans and the media is that the Pats “win to much”, even though they’ve only won 2 Super Bowls in the past 14 years.

I know people on here act like we’re spoiled if we expect more wins but the way the Pats “manage the cap” along with the best QB of all time and arguably the best Head Coach of all time, 2 Super Bowl wins in the last 14 years really isn’t that great. They’ve let a lot of opportunities slip away.

He’s a good player but talks too much. Enjoy the super bowl but it seems he’s full of envy. Thank goodness the season’s almost here. Last year was painful. A rematch would be sweet.

Johnson is the classic case of an individual with an underlying inferiority complex and self-esteem issues. He also is an individual who is searching for fulfillment in his life. He has money, fame and a Super Bowl championship but needs to bash the Patriots as it gives him a better sense of self-worth albeit temporarily.

I am honestly hoping for a rematch on SB 53. I have a gut feeling Minnesota may win the NFC, however.
Or the LA Rams.

Before SB52 happened, I had told people here in Hershey that I would've rooted for the Eagles vs ANY team from the AFC other than the Pats.
Now, they're my 3rd-most despised team in the NFC, behind only the Vagiants and the team that Scam Newton plays for. Feck Philly to Hell.

It would be good for TV, but Brady vs JAG is better. It won’t happen as the 9ers are still a few players away, but they will make some noise this year.

the eagles might not even make the playoffs.
The Giants are their only threat if Beckham stays healthy, Manning has anything left, Barkley is a stud and the their defense shows up. I think they’ll make the playoffs.

Rams are definitely loaded. You can’t fault them for trying. There’s definitely some excitement here in LA for them. But it all comes down to Goff. Does he take a step back from last year?
