I'm not sure what it sounded like on TV or what the noise was, but I've heard it louder at the dome before. It got really loud at times, but for the entire game, I have heard it louder.

REALLY? and how long would u say have u heard it go louder then that? was it louder at the AFCCG last year by any chance? cuz that tells ME something VERY interesting

Colts do not pipe in crowd noise. The more you insist on it, the bigger the let down when nothing comes out of it. But it's comical, please continue.

I did not hear that sound at all. I would have noticed that for sure. That sounds like a reverb loop. When an open mic is near a speaker that the audio from that mic goes to it creates a feedback known as reverb. I don't know if that's what that is for sure, but that's what it sounds like.

If it was a mic picking up the sound from it's own speaker it would have created feedback not reverd. It would have kept amplifying and amplifying into an infinite loop.

This sound is the sound a computer system makes when it hangs or crashes.

Tips to everyone. Don't surf for porn on your artificial crowd noise machine because the viruses and spyware you get will make it crash during a big game.

Just let them run with it. People believe what they want to believe. What's the saying by that guy on Mythbusters, "I reject your reality and substitute my own!"

Next year at Lucas Oil, the size will keep the noise down. Too bad, it was fun being part of making some of that noise. The good part is I might be able to take my sons to some regular season games, as they would have freaked out at the noise in the dome.
