Ranking them in order isn't really fair as they are so close together.
If you made me give my rankings right now... Scaling from 1-100. With something in the high 90s being an absolute wagon of a team ala 72 dolphins or 85 Bears ect... And single digits not only possibly being winless but not even really NFL worthy... Here is how i see it (typically a decent super bowl involves high 80s to low 90s.... Teams picking #1 are typically in the 10s).
Rams 81
Eagles 80
Seahawks 79
KC 78
Patriots 77
Colts 76
Bills 75
Lions 75
Broncos 74
Bucs 72 (78ish when fully healthy).
Chargers 73
Packers 70
(for context the 2004 Pats were something like 94, and the 2009 pats were around 71 or I'd say)
So those are the teams i feel have a bit of seperation. No one else really matters. Pitt/Bears/Ravens(for now)/SF don't even get ranked in this group. If you don't have a positive point differential i don't need to take you seriously regardless of record.
Overall while LAC and GB are good, they feel lacking. GB lacks some talent on O... Their QB is just good and not elite, and they don't have the caliber of D to make up for it. LAC... it's sad. They lost their 2 starting OTs.... Tough loss. I think that is an absolute killer.
Bucs are hurt but will get guys back, but i don't trust their D. Broncos have the D but the O feels like smoke and mirrors. Lions have the O but their D isn't good enough.
Bills are overly reliant on Allen and Cook. Their D is only pretty good and nothing else particularly stands out. Colts starting to see Daniels become a pumpkin and it is making it harder. Also it is unlikely Taylor can keep this up all year. They have talented skill players. But their D is not elite (pretty good, not elite) and Daniels is going to eventually be a killer for them IMO.
Pats are so damn thin in so many spots, you are just holding your breath hoping the shoe doesn't drop. They have a borderline elite D, some play makers and some upside. Plus one of the true difference makers at QB, but they are walking a god damn tight rope. And even if they stay healthy that IOL is going to be an issue.
KC is battle proven with the talent and has their guys back. Their D is still among the best in the league even with a small step back. Mahomes still must be respected. Rice/Worthy being back is huge. But they have some OL concerns right now and while they have weapons they ain't what they use to be, and it shows.
Seahawks are solid, but their O skill players could stand to be better and deeper. Eagles D isn't what it use to be and Barkley has taken a step back. But the roster is still impressive all around and they have no weak area, particularly that OL can still carry them.
Rams are the most complete team in the NFL right now IMO. They got the O, the D. Their OL is solid, their skill players are good... Stafford is often as good as they players around him, right now they are good. But their QB won't elevate them. And while they are complete and good everywhere... The D is very good... not great. The offensive cast is very good... not great. At least i don't think so.
