If you read the description on EBAY....it says its a "staff" ring. Not a player ring.

one of he pics shows it belonging to a STAFF member, not a player.

Most years the staff rings are not as crazy as the player rings, but this may be an exception.

Most years the staff rings are not as crazy as the player rings, but this may be an exception.

The rings for the 1st SB were all legit, even the staff rings. The following 2 SB's the Staff Rings did not have real diamonds. They were essentially copies, commissioned by the team.

The blured out part is in fact someone's name.

I know because I know.

It'd be easier to convince people (us the avergae poster here) we were on the staff than on the team as a player.

That being said, I'd probably leave it be as I didn't earn it so it's not likely to have special meaning to me.

That appraisal seems way to low. I'm wondering if it is an appraisal from 2001. The price of diamonds has shot up since then. That being said, $63k is way too high for a staff ring. I think the player ring on Pawn Stars is available for less then that.

The ring is way over-priced. I believe during one episode of Pawn Stars they said that Players rings are worth way more and that staff rings are worth around 15K. I remember someone was trying to get over 30K for a Miami Heat staff ring once....

Staff rings are not nearly as coveted, since they are more widespread.

My doctor has a Steeler SB ring, if that tells you anything; and he was helping them with hyptnotism....
