Anyone else think Fouts was the worst he's ever been today?

I have never one time muted an announcer. Fouts drove me to it last week. The last straw was his insisting Gronk should have been called for o.p.i. when at worst, it was mutual handfighting. At the end, I turned the volume back up so I could hear any wrapup and that utter twitnipple was STILL *****ING about the touchback. Ye gods.

Never been a Cowboy fan but appreciated Romo. The more I watch games with him in the booth the more i hate all the rest of the announcers.

Crap. As noted by Chatham, this game is going to be extra awful since Fouts spent his entire career with the Chargers.

Aside from inscrutable politics inside CBS, there's no way to understand his longevity at something he doesn't seem to do very well.

But, it wouldn't be surprising if he didn't have a chip on his shoulder against highly successful QB's.

Played for one of the worst organizations in the NFL...for 15 Seasons. No SB's. But led the league in passing four straight years and became the first guy to put up four consecutive 4,000+ yard seasons. Elected to Canton. One of the "very good" QB's to play in the League, but never mentioned in any discussion of the great QB's and an afterthought when people discuss HOF QB's.

So, resentment. Human.
