Absolutely brutal. Guy sounded like a Seattle cheerleader during the whole telecast. I actually muted the game for a few minutes in the third quarter because his rooting interest for Seattle was bothering me. Dead silence from him after the Butler play. Did anyone else notice this? I thought it was particularly bad in this game.

Yeah, I wish it could have just been Al Michaels' sarcastic self the whole way. Collinsworth couldn't stop slobbering over Wilson and the Seahawks. My mom wondered if he wanted to propose to Wilson just to make it legal.

Very annoying that they kept bringing up deflategate and sleezy move by Tafoya at the end asking Kraft about it after just winning the ****ing super bowl.

Collinsworth is okay ...

He just gets carried away with ball washing when one team gets hot and he rides it out till the tide switches.

I can see why the NFL would like him ... he's like a spontaneous advertiser for the stars of the league.

As for being a good color guy ... not really ... he's more into ball washing - Madden was way better.
Madden would go out of his way to break stuff down for the casual fan ...

And not just once but twice. You could see he was shooting lasers out of his eyes when he answered.

Yea, the timing of that was nasty, tacky, rude, disrespectful

Collinsworth is horrible. I can't stand him as a commentator.

This "scandal" has been very useful for finding out what a bunch of bitter, whiny *****es all these old has been's are.

My taste in announcers is different from others, I guess.

I like Collingsworth and Simms, or at least dislike them less. They are literate, knowledgeable without rubbing your face in their knowledge of the game. Y'all dislike them, when others don't. Joe Buck and others drive me up a wall.

My god, I just re-watched the game and I noticed when they started in on the that deflate crap it was right at the most inappropriate times. Plus they made it sound as if the Pats were in danger of being kick out of the league or something worse. I know they were trying to sound dramatic but it was just embarrassing. I really wish I could find a copy with the radio announcing the game.
