Anyone else stoked for the matchup against Brady and the Bucs?

5-11 in 2000.
BB didn't pick Bledsoe, he fired him. You people keep using disinformation. BB inherited an outright mess in 2000. Once he cleaned up said mess in absolutely epic fashion in 2001 with players he PICKED. They went 11-5 and won a SB as a massive underdog. Maybe you were real young then?

Entering last season, with a BB picked QB in NE, he was 14-6. He's now 23-15 without Brady in NE when he chooses and works with his QB of choice.

Try again.

I like facts.

5-11 in 2000.

Counting 2000. 5-11 there, and his record in Cleveland is below .500 although to be fair no coach could succeed in those circumstances with that franchise after the plug was pulled

3-1 with Brissett/JG. Pats beat ARI, MIA, HOU, lost to BUF.
True forgot he got here in 2000 not 2001

I dont "count" anything before 2000 (but dont blame you if you do) because over 20 years you probably have grown and improved as a HC. The rumor mill was BB thought he could win with any average or better QB. Mac fits the bill this year, time to really find out

Right....brady was just some player that Bill happen to keep for two decades while not doing that with anyone else....I woudl say you are an idiot, but you are basically just a troll about Brady becuase he hurt your feels.
So, you expected BB to work 24 hours a day to be developing a mini-Brady behind Brady himself to prove how great he is as a teacher of the game? How irrational can you be?

Actually not really. Bledsoe got hurt, that is why Brady came in. It was not some genius move or anything. No he is not 23-15 without Brady. lol Also in 01, they started 0-2, was BB just biding his time for the miracle to happen or was it just miraculously at the same time Brady started playing?

well i guess we know who you are rooting for next week…you are part of the “Tommy can do no wrong” group. everyone in america knows Brady screwed up on that one play but you just can’t admit it...

I never denied Brady was at fault on that play. That has nothing to do with your idiotic slicing of the blame pie for the loss.

What does Super Bowl 52 have to do with who I'll be rooting for next week?

Fact: you were never a Patriots fan before they won a championship, though I was a fan when they were terrible, before Parcells even got there. I used to go on family trips to watch Hugh Millen suck and Scott Sisson miss field goals as they got pummeled by Marino's Dolphins and Kelly's Bills. You've never rooted for a Patriots team that wasn't led by Belichick and considered to be a contender.

Fact: you are from the Virginia/DC area and root for all DC teams except for the football dynasty Patriots...you're the textbook definition of a bandwagon fan. Anyone who claims they just randomly started rooting for a team, outside of their home market, for any reason other than being an insufferable bandwagon *******, is a liar. It suits your personality, too: a front running, contrarian ******* who I'm sure just loves to troll and piss off everyone around him while basking in some cheap glory.

Opinion: changing your name from TommyBrady12 to MAC10 - and then spending all of your time trashing the guy whose name you previously used - just shows what a ****roach you are.

Yes, thats why the pats lost becuase our QB didnt catch a pass. It was not giving up 41 points and over 500 yards of offense thats for sure, it was a trick play that didnt work.
Yes, that's absolutely one of the reasons.

1. Both teams played some bad D like the 49ers/Ravens SB.
2. Goodell handed Philly a free 14 points. That's a fact.
3. Brady had two major gaffes. A dropped pass and a fumble with plenty of time left against a gassed D.

So, you expected BB to work 24 hours a day to be developing a mini-Brady behind Brady himself to prove how great he is as a teacher of the game? How irrational can you be?
So you are saying the only reason Brady was good becuase Bill decided to over work with a Qb drafted in the 6th round when they had 3 other QB's on the roster and one was being paid a new contract, he just picked Brady out of a hat to spend all of his time with and didnt do that with anyone else ever. Got it.

Umm, BB kept 4 QBs on the roster in 2000. That's never been done before in NFL history. Yes, it was a genius move because the media skewered him for doing it.

BB kept 4 QBs because he wanted to see more of Brady, umm, the guy HE drafted. Brady wasn't made in a lab somewhere and a gift that fell out of the sky to make BB look good like you believe, apparently.

Maybe you were in diapers when his happened?

No and that is stupid, and it so stupid its borderline embarrassing for you.

Thread is absolutely hijacked at this point. One dude that is on an absolute tirade about how Brady cost the team the eagles SB and other smearing here and there about his apparent shortcomings.

Any chance at some moderation since the thread is essentially ruined?

That is correct per Greg Bedard. Also, I never said BB is the "only reason". I said Brady was a 6th rd pick later bloomer type who came in raw and green like all other rookie QBs come in. Brady didn't come in here telling BB what color the sun is. Brady took the coaching and worked hard. Belichick had been in the| NFL since 1975 and has a gameplan on the wall in Canton when Brady was in 8th grade thumbing through the Victoria's Secret catalog after school.

Belichick only worked with 3 (now 4) QBs DAILY (minus 2000 with Bledsoe) in his entire stint in NE. Brady, Cassel (on the fly in 2008) and JimmyG for 2 seasons leading into 2016. Also, if you read BB's scouting report on the perfect QB, it's the complete opposite of Bledsoe. Belichick was not going to have another Kosar situation on his hands.

Bishop, Friesz, Davey, Jim Miller, Flutie, Hoyer, Mallett, Brissett, never got such treatment.

Get it?

Bill Belichick is kinda brilliant. I am sorry you aren't aware of that as a Pats fan.

If that's true, why on earth would you bash the man responsible for not having Hugh MIllens and Scott Sisson's running around Foxborough?

So strange.

Then what the hell are you arguing about? Did I ever blame Brady exclusively for the loss? The fact that I brought it up in response to another poster blaming Bill for benching Butler and then you chime in suggests you are incredibly sensitive about any Brady criticism.

And no, I'm not from VA/DC area originally. We've been through this 1000 times.

You are a fan of of DC baseball, hockey, and basketball teams, yes?

Just baseball and hockey (sort of, just casually)...I don't follow professional basketball.

Why are you engaging that idiot? He’s a man in his 50s who has been banned from the forum 17 times and keeps coming back. His account over at the Planet had to get throttled back because he ****posts so often.
50? Wow Bill kept him locked up in that basement longer than I thought.

I am so happy Cam is no longer our QB.
