The scariest thing is they're not even using their best kick returner on kick returns.

I dunno, I feel like a guy like Henderson is probably the perfect build for the current version of the kick return. The returner needs to be:

1. Strong enough to break the first tackle outright
2. Twitchy enough to make the second tackler miss
3. Fast enough to outrun everyone else after that

Whereas punt returns come down to just being really twitchy and making lots of guys miss, where guys like Edelman and Marcus Jones excel.

The Pats should involve MJ in the offense too.

I think I've mentioned once or twice that I love Marcus.

PS: love the punter love too.

When has MJ ever contributed on offense without the benefit of playing in Matt Patricia's offensive system?
What does that have to do with the cost of whiskey?

Its about playing with the lead like the Pats did vs Miami. And, it gives opposing defense 1 more wrinkle to be wary of. Henderson had a bad game in Miami and upcoming opponents could be keying on Rham and Gibson.

I’ve been wondering how much is the blocking not just the returners.

no doubt, the guy has moves

Gratz to AG... tremendous effort on that play... very worthy of the award...

last time the Pats took home a PotW award was week 17 of the 2022 season... kyle dugger...

Was just a joke about the "benefit" of playing for Patrcicia. Not meant to be taken seriously.

Honestly though, I think it makes more sense to just use Pop Douglas in whatever play you want to draw up for MJ on offense. It's not like he's proving essential as an every down receiver. Boutte/Diggs are clearly #1/#2 and Hollins is arguably #3 ahead of Douglas too.
