Asked if Moss tried hard after halftime...

I don't think he did. He plays when he wants to, and he didn't have that same effort in the second half. You could see that on the film, also.

When you get in his face and frustrate him, he gets out of his game.

I don't care if he hears it or not. He's going to be him, and we're going to play our best. We'll see how it plays out.

It's pretty official this guy was a damn slouch.

Of course he was. You don't toast the best CB in the league with a one handed catch and then get shut down by Antonio Cromartie. It's either that, or Moss has definitely lost more than a step (which I don't think is the case). Either way, he shut it down. However, in his defense, the throws from Brady were nothing short of horrible either.

Re: Antonio Cromartie also says Moss slacked off against Jets

No chance that Revis and Cromartie are doing this to get into his head before Monday night.

Amazingly if they said this before we played the Jets you would have been telling them to shut up. So go off and have another chug of that koolaid and just talk about current Patriots and how brilliant they are.

Cromartie is a douche who cant read...he does not matter.

Moss apologists are starting to be just as bad as those who defended Maroney.

Randy said in his presser yesterday that he has lost a step but said that he is still one of the fastest in the league.

As you can see from that comment he has this huge ego.

Of course. After all, I've always been about chugging the Kool-Aid.

That comment was not directed at you, its the op it was directed at. I think you know me better than that at this stage. Like I posted at the same time as you 5.30.

1. I never said anything about his ego. So I don't know where that irrelevant statement is coming from.

2. Moss used to be able to beat double coverage pretty consistently. Even in 2009 when he would do it and be the victim of a bad throw.

3. I believe that he was still capable of doing it this season, and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw it in New York this Monday night. You don't flash the kind of speed we saw against Revis and then have Cromartie out running you on your own routes for the rest of the game without something being up.

4. It's pretty common knowledge amongst NFL corners and defensive coaches alike that Moss has a tendency to shut it down. It shouldn't come as a surprise that this just might have been one of those instances.

My mistake then.

He actually did burn Cromartie a couple of times. Brady just threw wounded ducks.

The way I see it.
I don't have a contract after this year, why should I risk getting injured by jumping for balls that are not perfectly thrown? I have showed the league and New England what I am capable of and if Patriots don't want to pay me, then I must protect myself without exerting too much effort.

So long as he averages a TD per game, as was the case going into the Phins game, does it really matter if he shuts it down periodically to re-charge?

Would it be better to have a guy that goes all out, every play, but who is too tired to score points when needed?

Just asking!

My eyes didn't catch that. I didn't see a time in the game when he was clearly ahead of Cromartie for a good game, aka a time when he "burned him". To my eyes, Cromartie and/or the safety was step for step with him the entire time.

 Bet the house on the Vikes.

Vikes are going to get smoked by the Jest. Lord Favrequat will never make it through the whole season. It's going to be fun watching the Vikes implode on themselves. It's the raiders part 2 for my homey.

The throws were bad BECAUSE Moss gave up.
You can't blame Brady for throwng a pass that is good if Moss gives his route 100% but looks bad if Moss dogs it.

Right, again Moss was bored and decided to just stop trying Brady is too perfect to ever make a bad decision or throw.
