I think if AB had just kept his mouth shut after arriving with the Pats he would still be on the team. There are obviously a number of highly charged allegations against him but each one comes with a litany of question marks and could just be a money grab as he claimed. The problem is that his general behavior outside of these issues does not afford him the benefit of a doubt. The reality is in today's environment he should have either stayed silent or acted somewhat contrite about the situation "I am sorry that she feels that way. We had a relationship that did not ................... and I will defer any other comments to my feedback as the litigation continues" His text to the 2nd accuser was read as a threat by many and probably signaled to the Pats that they were unable to control AB and that this story would at a minimum be front and center from a media perspective for quite some time.

I admit that my first allegiance is to winning and I would have been OK keeping him due to his immense talent until this thing played out but once he texted that woman it took a "prior" situation and made it a "now" situation and I understand why the Pats decided to cut the chord.

no.........his texting to one of the accusers has nothing questionable about it.......it is absurdly simple why he is gone

the fact that anyone is trying to angle a way he could still be on the team needs to put some more thought into their opinion

you do realize that you yourself are not winning........it is nothing more than entertainment whose outcomes are either a win or a loss, but every pats game I have watched since the early 70's has been a win to me
