We don't know the "why" of the trade. I find it amusing as hell that, according to your logic, people are not allowed to judge the player based upon his play, but you're allowed to interpret the reasoning behind the trade.
So you're going the Andy route of "oh so you know what Bill is thinking"? Who is saying that people aren't allowed to judge DT? I said he's being made out to be Jerry Rice based on the love affair with some based on the Giants preseason game. The point I was making is that his performance should be taken in context as he was playing against guys who would be out of the NFL in 2 days.

I'm not going any particular route. I'm just noting the hypocrisy of your position. If you are going to deride people for speculation, and you speculate in the very same post, you have to accept the possibility of being called out for it.

And, as for context, Thomas was traded to a team where he's familiar with the coach, had some of his best years under that coach, and is likely to get a fair amount of playing time (possibly even to start) if he is anything approaching a complete recovery. Yet you chose to ignore all that, when it all could be evidence that Thomas asked for the trade.

Cooks broke the 14 curse and now Browns turn to break the 17 curse :D

What speculation am I deriding? My post was about DT being overvalued based on a preseason game.

I speculated that Bill traded DT to the Jets for next to nothing because he didn't think he was good enough/cost effective enough to keep on the team. The same way I speculate that when he cuts a player it's because he wasn't good enough/cost effective to keep on the team. Maybe DT saw the writing on the wall and asked to reunite with Gase but it wasn't Bill's obligation to do what DT wanted. One would think it's a reasonable speculation to make that if Bill thought he would be a significant contributor to the team he would have kept him.

Do you know these things as in you were there when she spoke to the police? Or do you actually just know what she told you?

It's what her parents and brother, who are close friends of mine, told me since they were in the room with her.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Some of you have a problem.

Last I checked abortion was brought into the discussion over there.
Last I checked Andy was arguing that dogs are born with morals with a guy who claimed women that squirt when they climax is a result of intelligent design.

#17= Curse of death, bye Brown, nice knowing ya. Someone should've warned him

All joking aside, if anyone can break that curse, it's Brown, he's 100x more talented than anyone who's ever worn that jersey #.

I think he would have looked a lot better wearing #82

Would also look great in #81 or #87 IMO.

I guess #17 is fine but I'm not a huge fan.

At the end of the day, any number will look nice if he's playing well.

I once told a girl a joke while she was drinking a milkshake, and milkshake squirted out of her nose. Does that count in the world of squirters ?

Do you feel that Antonio Brown will break the cure of the Patriots #17?

The biggest hunk of BS spewed by local media is "they didn't NEED Antonio Brown"....well, when one of your top 2 receivers is one positive piss test from being gone, well, yes, you do NEED a guy like Brown.
..Or try to keep him of a rival team?

If he is on the field, obviously.

I'm the odd man out.

I think that we will get most of our yards from the shotgun, with 3 WR's and 2 RB/FB's or 4 WR's and 1 RB/FB.

We might even have Meyers active to give him some reps.
