Any major news organization that points out the videos and their inconsistency of her story with them will be accused of being rape apologists, blaming the victim, etc. It’s simply the culture we live in.I guess one thing that is most confusing to me is why this particular website, oaklandnewsnow.com, is the only news-type site (at least it looks like one) that has posted the Instagram Videos apart from that ILIKEYOURBEATS guy who originally posted it. Although they definitely don't prove a rape didn't happen, they do seem to indicate that the relationship between Ms. Taylor and A. Brown was not completely professional. It seems like all sorts of news outlets would be jumping on this type of salacious stuff.
Does anyone have an idea for why these videos haven't been referred to on other media outlets? Is it because they are unverified? Or, is there some type of consent law at work?
I admit that I'm not one of those that thinks there is a vast conspiracy among the news outlets to suppress information, as long as that information is likely to draw eyeballs and clicks (i.e., $$$).
maybe he picked that number because it was cursed. The most AB thing everNo one gave him the memo about No. 17, but maybe he can change the curse of Chad Jackson/Taylor Price/Aaron Dobson.

I was kidding, nobody here has been against due process lol.
We just want people to not start from the stand point that the women is a liar and work backwards from there and give both sides a fair unbiased look. But alas, tons of confirmation bias on both sides.

Peter King was just on WEEI and he doesn't know either as he was saying he should have just paid the $75k to make go away.
How many don’t file police reports than more than a year later file a money grab civil suit? That’s not uncommon in sexual assault cases. Many victims do not file police reports for a variety of reasons
That’s not to say he is/isn’t guilty of doing something inappropriate. But the lack of the report doesn’t tell us anything in and of itself
Yes the Edelman case is an example of how exoneration never really happens from the public after an accusation. In Edelman’s case the accusation from the police report was very specific on what happened, when it happened, and how it happened. So the video could look specifically at the claim (as opposed to just saying it happened off camera). The specific incident the accuser claimed did not happen. Even then the police never charged the accuser with lying. These guys have seen the video and know what is going on here but they don't dare say it for fear of what will happen to them if they question the honesty of a victim of sexual assault. Look at that 2018 article on Jules charges making it seem like he got off because the police couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt. There was video there showing what happened, it never happened and the accuser should have been charged. It may be harder proving something didn't happen. In Jules case luckily there were video cameras but he was still arrested till they could review.
All the AB videos here prove is that the paperwork in the case is wrong and the nature of their relationship was distorted in the filing. Unless there is a true smoking gun of someone offering proof she planned this as a shake down, he will always be guilty in most peoples minds because most people just look at the surface (deflategate). In deflategate, most press get that is was just the temperature decline and there was no conspiracy. Few will say it but you see it in the nature of the coverage of Brady.

Why? It is never about the number, but about production. AB the football player is a baller.Yikes. Bad number.
Yes lets go down this path again. An aging, post injury, Pro Bowler who's production was declining in the two seasons prior to his injury plays relatively well against guys who were cut 2 days later. He looked solid but he wasn't exactly running away from anyone. If Bill thought he is half as good as some on this forum think he is then he wouldn't have traded him for a late round pick (to the Jets of all teams).
Do you know these things as in you were there when she spoke to the police? Or do you actually just know what she told you?I need to chime in here just to say something
I don't know if AB did this.
The timing is off, it seems more complicated than her lawyer is portraying, that's for sure.
False accusations happen. I'm a journalist, so I always feel like it's good to hold off until you get facts before coming to a judgment on something like this. Due process exists for a reason, and people in my profession have gotten very burned in the recent past for making assumptions without a critical mind and patience.
BUT
I know a woman who was raped a few years ago, but not just one but two men. She was 20, they were in their mid-20s. She was blackout drunk, she'd been drinking around a campfire with a bunch of people and had too many. The two of them visited her in her tent later that night and took turns with her.
The first - first thing she did when she woke up, was go to the police. She had a rape kit done, said she wanted to press charges. This is within hours of her realizing what had happened the night before.
And she was told, that because she'd been drinking with them earlier that she'd never win the case and it wasn't worth the time to go through the criminal avenue. They advised her to move on.
There are tons of reasons why women don't go to police right after an assault, not the least of which is because they are often completely f*cking useless.
Let's try to move on from the insinuation that there being no criminal complaint against AB made by this woman is a sign that she's lying or extorting him. She may well be, but the fact that she didn't go to the police is NOT evidence of that being the case.
