I actually don't think she will go to prison if she is lying. This wasn't a criminal trial, it is a civil trial. If she perjures herself in deposition maybe? If she lied to the prosecutor she can go to jail, which is why some have speculated she may have gone the civil route.

Due process is always the basis of all criminal charges. So it can’t be viewed as “jumping down” anyone’s throat

But if one refuses to view a crime from a perspective of due process, they should have people “jump down their throat”, don’t you think?

Brown’s legal team is counter-suing. If it can be proven she’s lying, she can go to prison. False allegations of rape conviction is a serious offense

That’s a big “if”. After all, Brown may be guilty.

Well she hasn’t exactly lied under oath yet, nor has she filed any sort of false police report. IMHO the whole thing is just one big bluff to try and force a settlement. This case never sees a courtroom.

I was kidding, nobody here has been against due process lol.

We just want people to not start from the stand point that the women is a liar and work backwards from there and give both sides a fair unbiased look. But alas, tons of confirmation bias on both sides.

I think the Miami game is a perfect game to play him. Consider it extended preseason, only using all the starters.
