ts;dr (Too stupid; didn't read) -- Steve Buckley thinks Brady is guilty as charged. He thinks the punishment was too harsh. He doesn't understand why the league is out to get Brady at this point.

(Hint: AT THIS POINT, the league is going scorched-earth on Brady because he's fighting them, with an excellent chance of winning. Buckley's incorrect opinion about Brady's guilt/innocence shouldn't keep him from recognizing that point.)

the press conferences tomorrow should be fun. any idea when tom speaks??
looking forward to 24-7 nfl network coverage!

(A) Not watching NFLN or ESPN.
(B) I'm guessing Brady will not be talking unless the league forces him too (I can't remember if the rules require him to talk), but I am fairly sure he will not have anything enlightening to say on the matter, on his lawyers' advice.

Eh. I don't think it's really that terrible of an article. If you think Brady's guilty of something, it makes sense that you'd think he'd deserve a fine.

Really, most of it is that Boston Sports Media Entitlement Syndrome that's so pervasive.

My opinion all along has been, I don't care if Brady's guilty of doing something or not. The League can't prove that ANYTHING happened by any reasonable standard, so punishing him for literally nothing is beyond ridiculous. And the league has been going out of their way to get "something" from "nothing" this entire time.

So, if Buckley thinks he did something (an uninformed opinion rather than a belief based in fact), then his position's not that crazy.
