Why the **** wouldn't they just rework the Mac Jones jerseys and add Maye? The slaves err workers overseas can't handle that?
The greed is freaking off the charts. Kraft ought to buy these back from hard working fans not try to bleed every last dollar from this failed draft pick.

raises hand...I worked at Building 19 3/4 through high school and college....Good stuff Cheap!
LOL. I worked next to the one in Haverhill, MA. Got stuff for my college apt there.

My wife worked at Spags in Shrewsbury in HS!

Never seen a place before or after like Spags. That place made no sense at all…but if you looked long enough you’d definitely find things you needed that didn't even know you needed !!
Yep. Very random. Plants....tires.....refrigerators....pencils...

Spags was great.... my family frequented the one on route 9 near Worcester before it disappeared. Also, frequented Building 19 3/4 on the other side of town off route 9 and 27....

Mac Jones red jersey reduced to $159. Holy cow, sign me up.

The old trick was to buy the jersey of the departed player and put a new name tape on it...maybe that's why?

You could have gotten a lot of use out of a #24 jersey in the 2010s.

Unfortunately the title of this thread reminds me of an old Micheal Jackson joke...

Q: What does Family Dollar and Micheal Jackson have in common?
A: Both have boy's underwear half off!

EDIT: I agree with the "Ugh!" emoji, @Tunescribe !!!

We need an emoji for funny-cringey.

The closest we had to us in Dorchestah during the 1970s was Bradlees (aka Mrs B's), both at Fields Cornah and especially the one on Morrissey Boulevard.

Bob's Surplus started up in CT in the 1970's and they were famous for selling their branded tee-shirts for $1. Me and my friends joked if we were ever down on our luck we could have a complete wardrobe by going to Bob's and spending $7 on a different shirt for every day of the week, since the shirts were different colors.

It reminds me of when I was going to college and my mom gave me four new sets of jeans as a gift, but they were the wrong size. I brought them back to Bob's and when I was doing the exchange the teller said "Ok, Mr. Lee, here's your $20". I said, waaah? She said they were now on sale and they honored the sale price. I said to myself oh-boy I scored! Back then $20 was several nights of drinking money! Of course that's what it ended up being spent on. Sorry, Mom, I thought about giving you back the money, but after thinking about it some more I considered it part of the gift!

According to the link below a six pack of beer cost $3.42 in 1980 which is when I started college. I definitely remember buying cases of beer for $10 or less on sale. There would be a big debate of quality vs quantity though. I remember buying lots of Canadian beer such as Molson or Labatt's for $11.99 a case. The liquor store on the edge of campus always had stuff in that price range. I remember one of the neighborhood dive bars sold mugs of beer for $0.50 in the late 70s and nicer joints selling pitchers of beer for $3.

In my college days, pitchers of beer at local pubs were the thing. Does that happen anymore?

The last Building #19 1/20 here closed years ago (after Rich’s and Ames moved), now the closest thing around here are Savers and Goodwill
