I posted about All or Nothing last year, but my post didn't get a big response. So, here goes my second attempt. Tomorrow, Amazon Prime will release All or Nothing, Season 2, which will "feature" the LA Rams 2016 season, which was an abject failure. Even still, the show will most definitely be worth a watch.

I hadn't really heard of All or Nothing until I happened to come across it on Prime. What I found was essentially Hard Knocks on Steroids (although the steroids didn't belong to them - it was shipped by a disreputable doctor to their wife). While Hard Knocks covers training camp, All or Nothing is shot in the same style but covers the offseason, training camp, regular season, postseason (if necessary) and draft over eight episodes. The footage is an incredible inside look at the players, coaches, scouts, general managers, and owners. The Arizona Cardinals 2015 season, season one, was quite a watch.

Now that's great timing. I just signed up for Prime two days ago. I'm watching. Thanks for the heads up.

Somebody needs to post the Jeff Fisher firing. That's all anyone would want to see from that joke of a coach.

All or Nothing in season 1 featured the Cards, right? That was a pretty decent show.

And this one should be entertaining too...

That was just freaking classic.

it's actually a bit uncomfortable to watch. especially when you think about all of his staff that probably had to start looking for new jobs.

coincidentally (i had no idea "all or nothing" with the la rams was being released tomorrow) i just started watching last season's hard knocks on HBO. fisher's coaching style and the rams culture seems so so far from how i imagine belichick runs the patriots.

i wish belichick would allow NFL Films to do a season with the patriots. he could stipulate that it wouldn't be shown until after he retired.

Is that all of it? How long until the episode is available on the free net?

Love football shows, thanks for the recommendation!

That said, the Rams were boring even when playing the Pats. In the NFL super bowl DVD (like 3 games to glory, but it's the one NFL puts out) they couldn't find a real highlight from the Pats/Rams game.

I didn't think All or Nothing last year was all that. Everybody plays up to the camera, so whatever they say or do is phony. At least during the Hard Knocks series, I'm able
to watch kids who are struggling to make a roster and everything that goes with it.

All or Nothing: 2016 LA Rams? No thanks.

The more I watched last year's iteration, the less I respected Bruce Arians as a coach. Wonder what will be ruined for me this year. Do I even respect anyone from that team to begin with?

One of my best friends and former roommates is a big Rams fan, and I've spent way too much time watching that disaster of a football team over the last seven odd years. It was fun to watch their total dysfunction on Hard Knocks last season and it will be fun to watch it again on this. Thanks for the recommendation!

All or Nothing is the only football show my wife showed any interest in watching. It would be incredible if the Patriots agreed to allow them to film a season, but I can't imagine them ever allowing that kind of distraction.

If the Pats ever did a Hard Knocks type documentary, if would become clear to the most ardent hater that the Pats earn what they have achieved.

The most ardent Pats hater would never admit they were wrong, but they would know.

Most Pats haters won't watch it. They couldn't stomach it.

They'd absolutely watch it. They would tell their friends they didn't watch it but the show would "oddly" be the highest rated show in the history of television. "Geez those Pats fans are obsessed"

It's just like porn. Nobody watches it and yet it's a 10+ billion dollar industry. :D

Great timing. I was just thinking on the way home tonight that I could use an NFL fix, now I've got one. I think I'll start binge watching last years series (haven't seen it since it was released) then lead into this years. Looks like a lot of rain between now and Sunday, so it'll work out great.

He did. In 2009. You won't get 8 episodes, but it's a 1.5 hours of solid inside info.

In Part 1 above at 10 min mark, it's amazing to see BB tell Welker (After Edelman returned a punt for TD in the first pre-season game) how Lou Gehrig started in place of Wally Pip and didn't give the job back, and how this could be the same situation. And Welker says "he can have it" and a ticked off BB says "Way to compete". I think it's fair to say Edelman will end up being a more famous Patriot than Welker due to post-season heroics.

Thanks for the heads up, added it to my "Watchlist"...

Also added, "Mississippi Juco: The Toughest Football League In America(2012)", which also sounds intriguing..

Always wanted Holley or someone to write the book on following a Pats Draftee from the first night until the end of the season, so many questions to ask about this whole process.. what do the Pats do for the new player, how they are ingrained into the Pats culture etc. etc.

We silly fans keep measuring a team's success based on (comparatively trivial) metrics like winning percentage and playoff success. The people making the most significant decisions in the NFL have a very different set of metrics. Sure, they'd love to have a winning team, mostly because it helps with the revenue and valuation.

Forbes lists NFL team values and the numbers are nuts

A change of scenery proved profitable for the Rams — the team’s value doubled to $2.9 billion by moving from St. Louis to Los Angeles. In three years, when Stan Kroenke’s Inglewood stadium is completed, Forbes estimated that the Rams could also be in the $4 billion range.

Binge watched 4 episodes yesterday, have just started today's session...

Best moment so far: During a game Dominique Easley is on the side lines and complains to Gregg Williams that he's yelling too loud, and Williams says to Easley: F*** YOU! So far the only Easley sightings have been of him on the sidelines, chatting away with other scrubs. I'm surprised he still has a job in the NFL.
