I just don't think Jacoby, this group of receivers, and the pass protection can generate enough of a passing game, even against a loaded box, to win, even though Seattle won't generate a lot of offense against the Pats' defense. I expect a Seattle defensive touchdown. I could make the exact same argument the other way regarding Seattle, which would argue for a Pats' win, so I could certainly be wrong, and I hope I am. The situations are sort of weirdly symmetrical.

The Patriots benefited from some dubious refereeing in their first game, making me wonder if the gamblers had done some engineering behind the scenes. I suspect that the Patriots will not get his boost against the Seahawks this time around; it is going to be a tough game...look for some dubious holding and PI calls against the Patriots.

The owners are the ones controlling the gambling so there doesn't need to be much engineering to stiff any team or bettor. Let's say some guy has so much cash and such a bad habit that he decides to gamble a few million on the over for Brissett's passing yards. Just before Jalopy hits it is when Bob Kraft (part owner of Draft Kings) calls down to Mayo and says it's time to take out Jalopy and bring in the kid. There are thousands of these situations like this in every game with every stat for every player and I wouldn't trust any of the owners as far as I could throw them. Their greed doesn't seem to have any boundaries.

This seems like paranoid nonsense to me, but perhaps I'm just a babe in the big woods.

Jealousy over the owners' success in life doesn't seem to me the best basis for analyzing the situation.

Except for the Panthers, the Bungles would’ve lost to Everyone last week; so I’m not buying The Collaboration thingy just yet…

SeaHags - 20

@NEP - 16

I had the Pats score right last week, so I’ll stay with it this week too.

Pats 17
Hawks 13
We really gonna be 2-0??

Patriots 17 Seahawks 20

Pats 23 sea 20

Everyone expected the Patriots to fail miserably against the Bengals, and of course, they had a wonderful, amazing game. One of the most surprising in Patriots history.

Now everyone is expecting the Patriots to do very well again the Seahags, but I think it will be a struggle.
It does not help that Malcolm Butler will be at the stadium; this is sure to PO's Seattle. Watch out Patriots fans.

What I think and feel is. The players have said this season no Matter what they want to defend home field. Bentley was saying so many great games were played at Gillette and they want to make it a advantage for them again. Win or lose there is som special happening with the era of patriots and it starts at the top with Mayo. I don't believe even in losses this season that this team will be blown out or embarrassed like so so many times last season. Like them 23-13..

Let’s go Pats! 20 to 17

This is shaping up like a game where into the fourth everybody is like “wow this team is about to go 2-0”. And then it kinda slips away

Seattle 19
New England 17
