Bills went so long without any success that they're afraid to fire a coach who has clearly worn out his welcome in buffalo just because they're gun shy on it getting worse, not better.

I still think Bills win this game but their coach is the biggest problem.

Should be said that Buffalo has been one of the best 2nd half teams in the NFL

Not over yet
Can't rely on that forever though. Goes for the Bears too. Good to be able to comeback but can't do it forever

No but it is his fault that on roughly their 30 with 16 secs and no time outs AND getting the back after the half McDermott decided to be aggressive.
Disagree.

30 yards was enough for a FG in Mile High, and they take the ball first in the 2nd half.

One shot deep-ish shot, not even talking about a full hail mary, could lead to points, if done properly

Josh Allen is 100% wrong in this. Running on this situation AND fumbling is inexcusable and Hailee Steinfeld should divorce him

So if the Bills lose can they fire McDermott?

There is already a lack of good HC candidates and they would be behind the curve in the interview process.

This beats the jakobi meyers reverse play
Yeh because even if the Patriots won that game, something what. They were not going far.

It's the postseason. The HC needs to tell his guy to take a knee.

McDummy's fault for not taking a knee when they had no chance at getting points with no time outs left. That's what coaches are paid to do, weigh the options and make smart decisions.
I’m not saying it was a good decision to be aggressive but it’s not the HC’s fault that the player was playing hot potato with the football

Josh Allen could shoot his teammate with a pistol on the field, Last Boy Scout style, and people would say he had no choice because McDermott didn’t do enough to prepare him and his front office didn’t give him enough help and his offensive coordinator didn’t tell him NOT to shoot people so how is he supposed to know, is he some kinda genius or something?
Agreed, he’s been on some of the best, most talented teams in the NFL the last half decade. How many excuses does one franchise caliber generational talent need?

So if the Bills lose Dan they fire McDermott?

There is already a lack of good HC candidates and they would be behind the curve in the interview process.
Nah I don't think they fire him

Cooks - fumble
Allen - fumble

Just need an Allen pick 6 and Buffalo will have the hat trick.

Can't rely on that forever though. Goes for the Bears too. Good to be able to comeback but can't do it forever
Only need to do it twice, three time more at worst for a great return...

I’m not saying it was a good decision to be aggressive but it’s not the HC’s fault that the player was playing hot potato with the football
And running just runs out the clock lol. Did he think they had a timeout?

McDermott is partially to blame although Allen should never have done what he did, that play should never have happened.

Of all the things that can happen when you try and go that distance with 10 seconds left for no reason at the end of a half with no timeouts 95+% of them are bad, he should have been told to go out and kneel the ball.

Bills handing the Donkeys the game. They've been so lucky all season it's incredible. Could have been 10-7 easily.

Should be said that Buffalo has been one of the best 2nd half teams in the NFL

Not over yet

If the 2nd half plays out like the first sans turnovers, Buffalo wins.

But man I've gone from wanting HFA to wanting to play the Broncos. A clean game against them and the Pats will drop 30 on them.

The Bills have been a second half team all season. I wouldn't write them off just yet.
Unless Allen decides to toss the ball towareds the other teams endzone a couple more times.

Was Josh Allen daring someone to knock it out of his hands. WTF was he doing

Disagree.

30 yards was enough for a FG in Mile High, and they take the ball first in the 2nd half.

He's not in the wrong for fumbling the ball lol. You say that as if it was a active decision.

Josh needed to protect the ball. He didn't.

The probability of getting a attempt at points, let alone actually getting them are so low that it wasn't worth running a play.

In the end it's on the coach for putting his players in a bad spot.
