Unless the team lied, he is seeing medical staff and will be on the injury report. That did not happen last week. You are suggesting he might have gone to the doc to avoid a presser. Why skip a presser? Have you ever known him to do that?
Like, 6 or 7 times this year?

He's missed a bunch of them this year.

Links? I cannot recall. Especially like this where the team gave a medical excuse.

Jeff doesn't give a number, but he tweets about the happenings.

Just a guess: Brady has pushed off his Wednesday news conferences several times this season. With media responsibilities heightened this week due to the AFCCG, the Pats had to announce ahead of time why he wouldn’t address the media as scheduled.

While panic is not warranted, these tweets are speculative and incorrect. Brady was not on the injury report last week and he will be today, and that represents an objective difference. Probably the Achilles again. While I expect him to play, it is reasonable to conclude he is worse than last week.

Why would that be reasonable to conclude? Nobody knows anything about that outside the team. Nobody knows how he was last week, nobody knows how he is this week. And injury reports are being as vague as they can.

The only factual thing that is known is that they were practicing again in the stadium on artificial surface that is somewhat heavier on the body. But they practiced there 4 times last week..

And he was not on the injury report. If he is on the report today, that is a difference from last week. I don't believe the injury reports are meaningless, but we don't know what his health really is. No sense arguing it.

First of all, my comment was intended as a joke.

Haha.

Second, I suspect he did indeed have a legitimate issue for seeing the Docs, though not necessarily anything serious with his Achilles.

Aaaannnd, it turns out he has an "issue" with his throwing hand.

So not nothing.

I never actually said it was "nothing".

"Limited in practice" is the furthest thing from definitive because it covers such a wide range of possibilities between minor and major. Brady practiced today. If his hand issue was something major, what exactly would he have been "practicing"? Throwing left-handed?

So not nothing.

Not nothing but if you have noticed during the past several week's games, he has flexed his hand a lot.

A couple of weeks ago some random insider said Brady has been playing through a broken bone in his hand for weeks, which perhaps has contributed to his subpar December. (We all know subpar for Tom Brady is elite for us normal human beings.) Certainly missing Waddle, Hogan, White, Burk, eg. has also contributed. Sure looked decent last week with 337 yards and 3 TDs.

Here is also some video from today's practice. Doesn't look too bad.

The only way he misses this game is if something happens family wise, God forbid. Otherwise he's in like Flynn.

I simply pointed out the posts from Howe and Trags were speculative and incorrect ("Most likely just a mere logistic issue and nothing more"). They were.
