It's simple... if Adam loves the Patriots and their fans so much he wouldn't have signed with their arch-rivals.

Adam Vinatieri's father, Paul, said last night that his son wanted to remain with the Patriots in the worst way.

"The Indianapolis Colts organization is such a great organization, a winning organization, everything about them is fantastic. It made a lot of sense to me. It was an easy decision at this point to jump on board with the Indianapolis Colts and I'm very proud and very honored to be here. Hopefully, I can live up to all their expectations. They have a winning organization here and I expect to do everything I can to help them continue that."
