Re: Adam Schefter says.............

If Philip Rivers can play "EFFECTIVELY" with no ACL in one knee and damage to his MCL in the other, why can't our QB play with a gimpy ankle?

What you are saying here basically amounts to "How come Phillip Rivers can write without pain after getting shot in the shoulder but Brady can't write well because he sprained his index finger? "

The difference in the type of injuries here affects different types of motion. With the ACL injury Rivers' ability to 'cut' was specifically affected but running or walking in a straight line was not as much of an issue. Many people with similar injuries have said the same.

Whereas a straight-up sprain can hamper Brady's ability to drop back and shuffle around.

Personally I think this continues to be a non-story because the guy played over a quarter after the injury and has had 2 weeks of rest following, but Rivers ACL and Brady's high ankle sprain are apples and oranges.
